Abstract

Latar Belakang: Kepuasan kerja perawat berpengaruh terhadap kualitas pelayanan dan keselamatan pasien. Ketidakpuasan dapat meningkatkan risiko kesalahan medis, terutama saat proses timbang terima. Penerapan metode komunikasi SBAR dinilai mampu meningkatkan efektivitas handover dan mendukung keselamatan pasien, namun efektivitas komunikasi ini turut dipengaruhi oleh tingkat kepuasan kerja perawat itu sendiri. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan tingkat kepuasan kerja perawat dengan pelaksanaan komunikasi situation, background, assessment, recommendation (SBAR) pada saat timbang terima pasien di RSUD H. Abdul Manap Kota Jambi. Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan desain korelasional, Populasi dalam penelitian ini yaitu 140 orang dan sampel terdiri dari 64 responden perawat pelaksana di ruang rawat inap yang dipilih menggunakan teknik probability Sampling, jumlah sampel setiap ruangan ditetapkan dengan mengaplikasikan rumus Stratified Random Sampling. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan kuesioner kepuasan kerja perawat dan melalui observasi komunikasi SBAR. Analisis data menggunakan uji Kendall’s Tau. Hasil: Sebagian besar responden memiliki tingkat kepuasan kerja yang tinggi yaitu berjumlah 53 (82,8%) responden. sebagian besar responden menerapkan pelaksanaan komunikasi SBAR dengan tepat yaitu berjumlah 47 (73,4%) responden. Hasil uji korelasi Kendal’s Tau didapat p-value 0,000 (p<0,05), dengan nilai r (0,480), hal ini menunjukan bahwa ada hubungan antara kepuasan kerja perawat dengan pelaksanaan komunikasi SBAR pada saat timbang terima pasien. Kesimpulan: Terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara kepuasan kerja perawat dengan pelaksanaan komunikasi SBAR pada saat timbang terima pasien. Sehingga dari penelitian ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kepuasan kerja perawat, yang pada akhirnya akan mendorong pelaksanaan komunikasi SBAR yang lebih efektif saat proses timbang terima pasien. Kata kunci: Kepuasan Kerja, Perawat, SBAR, Timbang Terima Background: Nurse job satisfaction affects the quality of service and patient safety. Dissatisfaction can increase the risk of medical errors, especially during the handover process. The application of the SBAR communication method is considered to be able to increase the effectiveness of handover and support patient safety, but the effectiveness of this communication is also influenced by the level of job satisfaction of the nurses themselves. This study aims to determine the relationship between the level of job satisfaction of nurses and the implementation of situation, background, assessment, recommendation (SBAR) communication during patient handover at H. Abdul Manap Regional Hospital, Jambi City Methods This study used a quantitative method with a correlational design. The population consisted of 140 individuals, and the sample comprised 64 respondents nurses from inpatient wards, selected through a probability sampling technique. The sample size from each ward was determined using the Stratified Random Sampling formula. Data were collected using a nurse job satisfaction questionnaire and observations of SBAR communication. Data were analyzed using the Kendall’s Tau test. Results: Most respondents have a high level of job satisfaction, amounting to 53 (82.8%) respondents. Most respondents implement the implementation of SBAR communication correctly, amounting to 47 (73.4%) respondents. The results of the Kendal's Tau correlation test obtained a p-value of 0.000 (p <0.05), with an r value of (0.480), this indicates that there is a relationship between nurse job satisfaction and the implementation of SBAR communication during patient handover. Conclusion: There is a significant relationship between nurses' job satisfaction and the implementation of SBAR communication during patient handover. So that this study is expected to increase nurses' job satisfaction, which will ultimately encourage more effective implementation of SBAR communication during the patient handover process.
