Abstract
Provinsi Jambi memiliki potensi besar dalam budidaya terung ungu, namun produktivitasnya masih belum optimal karena kondisi tanah yang didominasi oleh tanah ultisol yang kurang subur. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pengaruh pemberian eco-enzyme diperkaya terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman terung ungu varietas Mustang F1. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Teaching and Research Farm Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Jambi selama 3 bulan, menggunakan rancangan acak kelompok (RAK) dengan 5 taraf perlakuan yaitu: p0= 0%, p1 = 3%, p2 = 6%, p3 = 9%, p4 = 12 % yang diulang 5 kali. Data dianalisis menggunakan sidik ragam (ANOVA) dan uji DMRT pada taraf ∝ = 5%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberian eco-enzyme diperkaya berpengaruh nyata terhadap laju pertumbuhan tanaman, laju pertumbuhan relatif, laju asimilasi bersih, indeks luas daun, indeks panen dan produksi per hektar. Perlakuan terbaik diperoleh pada pemberian eco-enzyme diperkaya 9%, yang mampu meningkatkan pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman terung ungu secara optimal. Jambi Province has great potential for cultivating purple eggplant; however, its productivity remains suboptimal due to the dominance of less fertile ultisol soils. This study aimed to evaluate the effect of enriched eco-enzyme application on the growth and yield of purple eggplant (Solanum melongena L.) cultivar Mustang F1. The research was conducted over three months at the Teaching and Research Farm, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Jambi, using a Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD) with five treatment levels: P0 = 0%, P1 = 3%, P2 = 6%, P3 = 9%, and P4 = 12%, each replicated five times. Data were analyzed using analysis of variance (ANOVA) followed by Duncan’s Multiple Range Test (DMRT) at a 5% significance level. The results showed that the application of enriched eco-enzyme significantly affected plant growth rate, relative growth rate, net assimilation rate, leaf area index, harvest index, and yield per hectare. The best results were obtained with 9% enriched eco-enzyme, which optimally enhanced the growth and yield of purple eggplant
