Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis perkembangan Pertumbuhan Ekonomi, Investasi PMA, Investasi PMDN, Angkatan Kerja, dan Indeks Pembangunan TIK di Pulau Sumatera, serta menganalisis pengaruh Investasi PMA, Investasi PMDN, Tenaga Kerja, dan Indeks Pembangunan TIK terhadap Pertumbuhan Ekonomi di Pulau Sumatera. Data yang digunakan merupakan data sekunder dari Badan Pusat Statistik. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode analisis deskriptif-kuantitatif dengan alat analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan regresi linear data panel. Pengujian hasil analisis regresi data panel dengan menggunakan pendekatan Fixed Effect Model (FEM), diperoleh hasil bahwa secara simultan variabel independen berpengaruh signifikan terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi. Secara parsial variabel Investasi PMDN dan Indeks Pembangunan TIK berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Pertumbuhan Ekonomi, sementara Investasi PMA dan Tenaga kerja berpengaruh positif dan tidak signifikan terhadap Pertumbuhan Ekonomi di Pulau Sumatera tahun 2014-2023. This study goals to analyze the development of Economic Growth, PMA Investment, PMDN Investment, Labor, and ICT Development Index in Sumatra Island, as well as to analyze the influence of PMA Investment, PMDN Investment, Labor, and ICT Development Index on Economic Growth in Sumatra Island. The data used are secondary data from the Central Statistics Agency. This study uses a descriptive-quantitative analysis method with data analysis tools in this study using panel data linear regression. Testing the results of panel data regression analysis using the Fixed Effect Model (FEM) approach, obtained the results that simultaneously independent variables have a significant effect on economic growth. Partially, the PMDN Investment and ICT Development Index variables have a positive and significant effect on Economic Growth, while PMA Investment and Labor have a positive and insignificant effect on Economic Growth in Sumatra Island in 2014-2023.
