Abstract

Penelitian ini didasarkan pada adanya permasalahan mengenai pelecehan seksual yang dilakukan oleh remaja di Lembaga Pembinaan Khusus Anak Kelas II Muara Bulian Kabupaten Batanghari. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk Untuk mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang menyebabkan remaja melakukan tindak pidana pelecehan seksual di Lembaga Pembinaan Khusus Anak (LPKA) Kelas II Muara Bulian Kabupaten Batanghari. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Lembaga Pembinaan Khusus Anak Kelass II Muara Bulian Kaabupaten Baatanghari. Metode penelitian ini merupakan jenis deskriptif kualitatif dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dimana metode tersebut biasanya menghasilkan metode deskriptif analisis. Data penelitian ini diperoleh dengan cara wawancara dan dokumentasi. Wawancara dilakukan bersama Remaja yang terlibat tindak pidana pelecehan seksual, Kepala Lapas, dan Komandan Jaga. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa faktor lingkungan, terutama pengaruh teman sebaya merupakan penyebab dominan yang mendorong remaja melakukan perilaku tersebut. Selain itu, akses terhadap konten dewasa di media sosial juga berkontribusi signifikan tehadap perilaku negatif remaja. Meskipun faktor keluarga dan agama berperan dalam pendidikan moral, pengawasan yang kurang efektif mengakibatkan remaja mudah terpengaruh oleh lingkungan sekitar. Di sisi lain, faktor ekonomi tidak ditemukan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap perilaku kriminal remaja. This research is based on the problem of sexual harassment committed by teenagers at the Class II Special Development Institute for Children in Muara Bulian, Batanghari Regency. This research aims to identify the factors that cause teenagers to commit criminal acts of sexual harassment at the Class II Special Child Development Institute (LPKA) Muara Bulian, Batanghari Regency. This research was carried out at the Muara Bulian Class II Special Children's Development Institute, Baatanghari Regency. This research method is a qualitative descriptive type using a qualitative approach where this method usually produces a descriptive analysis method. This research data was obtained by means of interviews and documentation. Interviews were conducted with teenagers involved in criminal acts of sexual harassment, the Head of Prisons, and the Guard Commander. The research results show that environmental factors, especially peer influence, are the dominant causes that encourage teenagers to carry out this behavior. Apart from that, access to adult content on social media also contributes significantly to negative adolescent behavior. Although family and religious factors play a role in moral education, ineffective supervision results in teenagers being easily influenced by the surrounding environment. On the other hand, economic factors were not found to have a significant effect on juvenile criminal behavior.
