Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini ialah : 1) Untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi perilaku petani dalam penerapan inovasi dan teknologi dalam teknik usahatani padi sawah di Kecamatan Kumpeh Ulu Kabupaten Muaro Jambi. 2) Untuk mengetahui penerapan inovasi dan teknologi dalam teknik usahatani padi sawah di Kecamatan Kumpeh Ulu Kabupaten Muaro Jambi. 3) Untuk mengetahui hubungan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi perilaku petani dengan penerapan inovasi dan teknologi dalam teknik usahatani padi sawah di Kecamatan Kumpeh Ulu Kabupaten Muaro Jambi. Penelitian Ini dilakukan di Kecamatan Kumpeh Ulu Pada Maret 2025 – April 2025. Metode yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriftif dan analisis uji Chi-square dengan kontingensi 2x2. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa : 1) Perilaku Petani dalam Penerapan Inovasi dan Teknologi dalam teknik budidaya padi sawah di yang dipengaruhi oleh 3 faktor utama tergolong positif. 2) Tingkat penerapan inovasi dan teknologi dalam teknik budidaya padi sawah tergolong tinggi. 3) Terdapat hubungan yang signifikan dan kuat antara faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi perilaku petani dengan penerapan inovasi dan teknologi budidaya usahatani padi sawah di Kecamatan Kumpeh Ulu. The purpose of this study is: 1) To determine the factors that influence farmer behavior in the application of innovation and technology in rice farming techniques in Kumpeh Ulu District, Muaro Jambi Regency. 2) To determine the application of innovation and technology in rice farming techniques in Kumpeh Ulu District, Muaro Jambi Regency. 3) To determine the relationship between factors that influence farmer behavior with the application of innovation and technology in rice farming techniques in Kumpeh Ulu District, Muaro Jambi Regency. This study was conducted in Kumpeh Ulu District in March 2025 - April 2025. The method used is descriptive analysis and Chi-square test analysis with 2x2 contingency. The results of the study show that: 1) Farmer behavior in the application of innovation and technology in rice farming techniques in which is influenced by 3 main factors is relatively positive. 2) The level of application of innovation and technology in rice farming techniques is relatively high. 3) There is a significant and strong relationship between the factors that influence farmer behavior and the application of innovation and technology for cultivating rice paddy farming in Kumpeh Ulu District.
