Abstract

Latar Belakang: Rumah sakit bertanggung jawab memberikan pelayanan kesehatan bermutu sesuai standar untuk meningkatkan kepuasan pasien. Penerapan Model Praktik Keperawatan Profesional (MPKP) dengan metode tim bertujuan meningkatkan mutu pelayanan melalui kolaborasi efektif antar perawat. Ketua tim berperan penting membimbing dan mengarahkan perawat pelaksana agar asuhan keperawatan berjalan sesuai prinsip etika. Namun, dilapangan masih ditemukan ketua tim yang kurang adil dalam pembagian tugas, pasif terhadap keluhan pasien, serta belum optimal menegakkan prinsip keadilan dan tanggung jawab etis dalam tim. Kondisi ini menunjukkan bahwa peran etika ketua tim belum berjalan maksimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan menggambarkan peran ketua tim terhadap penerapan etika keperawatan dalam pelaksanaan asuhan keperawatan di RSUD H. Abdul Manap Jambi. Metode: Penelitian ini kuantitatif dengan rancangan deskriptif dan pendekatan cross sectional. Populasi 58 responden dengan teknik total sampling. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan kuesioner peran etika ketua tim. Hasil: Mayoritas perawat pelaksana berusia 30-39 tahun (67,2%), berjenis kelamin perempuan (79,3%), berpendidikan D-III Keperawatan (62,1%), dan masa kerja lebih dari tiga tahun. Sebanyak 58,6% responden menilai peran ketua tim baik, namun 41,4% masih menilai kurang baik. kekurangan signifikan ditemukan pada prinsip etika fidelity (19%) dan accountability (31%). Kesimpulan: Peran ketua tim dinilai baik secara umum, namun penerapan prinsip fidelity dan accountability masih rendah. Diperlukan intervensi berkelanjutan melalui pelatihan komprehensif untuk memperkuat pemahaman ketua tim dalam praktik etika keperawatan. The implementation of the Professional Nursing Practice Model (PNPM) with the team method aims to improve service quality through effective collaboration among nurses. The team leader plays an important role in guiding and directing staff nurses so that nursing care is carried out professionally and in accordance with ethical principles. However, in practice, there are still team leaders who are unfair in task distribution, passive in responding to patient complaints, and less optimal in upholding justice and ethical responsibility within the team. This condition indicates that the ethical role of the team leader has not been fully implemented. This study aims to describe the role of team leaders in the application of nursing ethics in the implementation of nursing care at RSUD H. Abdul Manap Jambi.. Methods: This was a quantitative study with a descriptive design and a cross-sectional approach. The population consisted of 58 respondents using a total sampling technique. Data were collected using a questionnaire on the ethical role of team leaders. Results: The majority of staff nurses were aged 30–39 years (67.2%), female (79.3%), held a Diploma III in Nursing (62.1%), and had more than three years of work experience. A total of 58.6% of respondents rated the team leader’s role as good, while 41.4% rated it as poor. Significant deficiencies were found in the application of ethical principles such as fidelity (19%) and accountability (31%). Conclusion: The role of team leaders was generally rated as good; however, the implementation of fidelity and accountability principles remains low. Continuous interventions through comprehensive training are needed to strengthen team leaders’ understanding of nursing ethics in practice.
