The students had well preparation before doing extensive listening activity. The teacher and the students discussed the instruction and the topic together in order to make the activity run well. It was their first time on applying extensive listening activity so the students took a note and rewatched it for understanding the listening text. By applying extensive listening activity, it helped them to improve their listening skill including recognize words, main point of the text, and accent of the speaker. It also helped them find their strength and weaknesses. Finding materials that familiar with them were important because it would affect the students’ motivation in learning language. The students also faced same difficulties while doing extensive listening such as accent and lack of vocabulary. Furthermore, all of the students tend to do extensive listening in a quiet place so they can be focus while doing the activity.
