During the flag ceremony, students in Jambi's Al-Falah school mostly did not follow well or were less receptive in participating in the flag ceremony. Only a large proportion of female students and the solemn front row follow the flag ceremony or in certain parts, for example when respecting the flag and reciting the Constitution and Pancasila, the students seem a little calm and solemn but such a situation does not last long because the Pembina ceremony Greeting most students did not hear what was talked about by the ceremony coach, they seemed cool themselves with their activities and some even talked with friends nearby and there were also those who only quietly daydreaming of drowsiness. Based on the above problems, the objectives of this study are. To determine the mastery of the value of nationalist characters in the implementation of flag ceremonies, to find out what efforts are carried out by schools in the mastery of nationalist character values and to find out how the nationalist character values are implemented. This research is a descriptive qualitative study with the type of case study research carried out at the Al-Falah Elementary School in Jambi. The results of the study indicate that the integration in the self-development program which includes routine school activities, spontaneous activities, and exemplary at Al-Falah Islamic Elementary School includes: Flag Ceremony every Monday, shaking hands with the teacher, throwing garbage in its place. Integration in subjects including syllabus, lesson plans, and learning activities. The lesson plan used as a guideline for implementing learning is made by the teacher by hand. While for the implementation of learning the teacher tries to insert nationalist characters in each subject. Integration in the school culture which includes the culture of class, school, and outside the school at Al-Falah Islamic Elementary School includes: time discipline, ceremonies for every national holiday commemoration, competitions, field trips. And the implementation of the value of nationalist character at Al-Falah Islamic Elementary School in Jambi is good enough. Keywords: Mastery, Character Values, Nationalist.
