Abstract
Pembelajaran abad 21 mengharuskan setiap siswa memiliki keterampilan 4C yang salah satunya adalah problem solving (kemampuan pemecahan masalah). Kemampuan pemecahan masalah sangat erat kaitannya dengan kognitif setiap siswa, kognitif tersebut ditandai dengan lama waktu dalam menjawab dan keakuratan jawaban soal pada materi sistem pencernaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis perbedaan kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa impulsif dan reflektif pada materi sistem pencernaan. Penelitian dilaksanakan di SMP Nurul Khoir Kota Jambi pada semester genap tahun ajaran 2023/2024. Penelitian menggunakan kualitatif deskriptif. Subjek penelitian adalah kelas VIII yang berjumlah 20 siswa. Analisis data kognitif dan kemampuan pemecahan masalah menggunakan tes Matching Familiar Figured Test (MFFT), tes soal uraian, wawancara, dan observasi. Berdasarkan analisis hasil penelitian, diketahui bahwa siswa impulsif 1 (Im) dan impulsif 2 (Im2) belum dapat memenuhi indikator merumuskan masalah, menemukan alternatif pemecahan masalah, menentukan strategi pemecahan masalah dan memeriksa kembali jawaban yang dibuat sedangkan siswa reflektif 1 (Rf1), reflektif 2 (Rf2), reflektif 3 (Rf3), dan reflektif 4 (Rf4) dapat memenuhi kelima indikator kemampuan pemecahan masalah yaitu mengidentifikasi masalah, merumuskan masalah, menemukan alternatif pemecahan masalah, menentukan strategi pemecahan masalah dan mengevaluasi/menyimpulkan penyelesaian masalah. 21st century learning requires every student to have 4C skills, one of which is problem solving. Problem solving ability is closely related to each student's cognitive, cognitive is characterized by the length of time in answering and the accuracy of the answers to questions on digestive system material. This study aims to analyze the differences in problem solving ability of impulsive and reflective students on digestive system material. The research was conducted at Nurul Khoir Junior High School in Jambi City in the even semester of the 2023/2024 school year. The research used descriptive qualitative. The research subjects were class VIII which amounted to 20 students. Cognitive data analysis and problem solving skills using the Matching Familiar Figured Test (MFFT) test, description problem test, interviews, and observations. Based on the analysis of the research results, it is known that impulsive 1 (Im) and impulsive 2 (Im2) students have not been able to fulfill the indicators of formulating problems, finding alternative problem solving, determining problem solving strategies and re-examining the answers made while reflective 1 (Rf1), reflective 2 (Rf2), reflective 3 (Rf3), and reflective 4 (Rf4) students can fulfill the five indicators of problem solving ability namely identifying problems, formulating problems, finding alternative problem solving, determining problem solving strategies and evaluating/concluding problem solving.
