Abstract
Latar Belakang: Keselamatan dan kesehatan kerja (K3) penting untuk mencegah kecelakaan di industri berisiko tinggi seperti produksi kayu lapis. Penelitian ini menganalisis hubungan budaya keselamatan kerja, termasuk komitmen manajemen, praturan dan prosedur, komunikasi, kompetensi, keterlibatan pekerja, dan lingkungan kerja, terhadap perilaku aman pekerja. Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan desain cross-sectional dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Sampel terdiri dari 92 pekerja bagian produksi di PT. Sumber Graha Sejahtera Jambi yang dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner yang telah diuji validitas dan reliabilitasnya. Analisis data menggunakan uji Chi-Square untuk melihat hubungan antar variabel. Hasil: Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa budaya K3 berhubungan signifikan dengan perilaku aman pekerja. Faktor-faktor seperti komitmen manajemen dan komunikasi menunjukkan pengaruh yang kuat terhadap penerapan perilaku aman. Lingkungan kerja yang kondusif juga mendukung pelaksanaan budaya keselamatan kerja yang baik. Kesimpulan: Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa budaya K3 yang baik dapat meningkatkan perilaku aman pekerja. Hal ini penting untuk mengurangi risiko kecelakaan kerja dan meningkatkan efisiensi di lingkungan kerja. Perusahaan diharapkan dapat terus meningkatkan budaya K3 melalui pelatihan, komunikasi yang efektif, dan penguatan komitmen manajemen terhadap keselamatan kerja. ABSTRACT Background : Occupational safety and health (K3) is important to prevent accidents in high-risk industries such as plywood production. This research analyzes the relationship between work safety culture, including management commitment, rules and procedures, communication, competence, worker involvement, and work environment, on worker safe behavior. Method : This research uses a cross-sectional design with a quantitative approach. The sample consisted of 92 production workers at PT. Sumber Graha Sejahtera Jambi was selected using a purposive sampling technique. Data was collected through a questionnaire that had been tested for validity and reliability. Data analysis uses the Chi-Square test to see the relationship between variables. Results : The research results show that K3 culture is significantly related to worker safe behavior. Factors such as management commitment and communication show a strong influence on the implementation of safe behavior. A conducive work environment also supports the implementation of a good work safety culture Conclusion : This research concludes that a good K3 culture can improve worker safe behavior. This is important to reduce the risk of work accidents and increase efficiency in the work environment.
