Abstract

Penelitian ini berjudul “Pengaruh Indeks Pembangunan Manusia, Pertumbuhan Ekonomi, Inflasi dan Kesempatan Kerja terhadap Tingkat Pengangguran di Provinsi Jambi”. Dibawah bimbingan 1). Prof. Dr. H. Yulmardi, S.E., M.S. dan 2). Jaya Kusuma Edy, S.E., M.Si. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: 1). Untuk mengetahui perkembangan indeks pembangunan manusia, pertumbuhan ekonomi, inflasi dan kesempatan kerja terhadap tingkat pengangguran di Provinsi Jambi., 2). Untuk menganalisis indeks pembangunan manusia, pertumbuhan ekonomi, inflasi dan kesempatan kerja terhadap tingkat pengangguran di Provinsi Jambi. Data yang digunakan adalah data sekunder yang diperolah dari Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) dan sumber data lainnya yang relevan. Metode analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis regresi linear berganda dengan dibantu program SPSS 27. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, hasil regresi menunjukkan secara parsial, variabel pertumbuhan ekonomi dan inflasi berpengaruh signifikan terhadap tingkat pengangguran, sementara variabel indeks pembangunan manusia dan kesempatan kerja tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap tingkat pengangguran di Provinsi Jambi. Saran pada penelitian ini, pemerintah perlu meningkatkan kualitas pembangunan manusia melalui pendidikan, kesehatan, dan penguatan link and match dengan dunia kerja, menjaga stabilitas inflasi, serta mendorong pertumbuhan ekonomi pada sektor potensial. Selain itu, masyarakat diharapkan meningkatkan keterampilan agar lebih kompetitif di era digital. This study is entitled “The Effect of Human Development Index, Economic Growth, Inflation, and Employment Opportunities on Unemployment Rates in Jambi Province.” The unemployment rate is one of the main indicators for assessing the economic condition of a region. A high unemployment rate can be a serious problem because it affects the welfare of the community and regional development. In Jambi Province, the development of the Human Development Index (HDI), economic growth, inflation, and employment opportunities are thought to be closely related to the dynamics of the unemployment rate. Therefore, this study aims to: 1). To determine the development of the human development index, economic growth, inflation, and employment opportunities on the unemployment rate in Jambi Province. 2). To analyze the human development index, economic growth, inflation, and employment opportunities on the unemployment rate in Jambi Province. The data used is secondary data obtained from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) and other relevant data sources. The data analysis method used in this study is multiple linear regression analysis using SPSS 27 software. Based on the results of the study, the regression results show that, partially, the variables of economic growth and inflation have a significant effect on the unemployment rate, while the variables of human development index and employment opportunities do not have a significant effect on the unemployment rate in Jambi Province. The recommendation of this study is that the government needs to improve the quality of human development through education, health, and strengthening links and matches with the world of work, maintaining inflation stability, and encouraging economic growth in potential sectors. In addition, the community is expected to improve their skills to be more competitive in the digital era.
