Abstract

PT. Taspen (Persero) Kantor Cabang Jambi is a State-Owned Enterprise that already has the support of information systems and information technology as an effort to improve service which is the company's main task, so it needs to be improved continuously and made into a corporate culture. Therefore, this research was conducted to analyze the needs of information systems and to plan a strategic planning of information systems at PT. Taspen (Persero) Jambi Branch Office in order to provide recommendations for candidates for information system applications to support the company's business processes. The method used in this research is the Ward and Peppard method including internal business environment analysis, external business environment analysis, IS/IT internal environmental analysis and IS/IT external environmental analysis. The supporting analysis used is CSF analysis, SWOT analysis, PEST analysis, Value Chain analysis, and McFarlan's strategic grid analysis. To strengthen the research results, information system diagrams are used to make it easier for companies to understand the application of information systems. Taspen is as many as 21 systems, 17 of which have been owned and 4 of them are new applications needed by PT. Taspen in achieving the company's goals and objectives in the future.
