Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh Locus of Control dan Adversity quotient terhadap Kesiapan Kerja Pada Mahasiswa Jurusan Pendidikan Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial Universitas Jambi. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah angkatan 2017 yang berjumlah 129 mahasiswa, penentuan pengambilan sampel menggunakan rumus slovin dengan jumlah sampel 97 mahasiswa. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah simple random sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan Angket. Analisi data menggunakan analisis statistic deskriptif dan analisis regresi berganda. Hasil analisis deskriptif diperoleh bahwa variabel locus of control dalam katagori rendah, Variabel adversity quotient dalam katagori rendah, dan variabel Kesiapan Kerja dalam katagori rendah. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa terdapat pengaruh secara bersamaan Locus of control dan Adversity quotient terhadap Kesiapan Kerja hal ini dilihat dari hasil uji F yang diperoleh diperoleh nilai Fhitung 8,021 lebih besar dari Ftabel 3,09, dengan nilai probabilitas sig 0,001 lebih kecil dari 0,05. Kemudian presentasi sumbangan pengaruh variabel pengaruh variabel Locus of control (X1) dan Adversity Quotient (X2) terhadap kualitas Kesiapan Kerja (Y) sebesar 14,6%, sisanya 85,4% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa terdapat pengaruh Locus of control dan Adversity quotient terhadap Kesiapan Kerja pada Mahasiswa Jurusan Pendidikan Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial Universitas Jambi. This study aims to determine the effect of Locus of Control and Adversity quotient on Job Readiness in Students of the Social Sciences Education Department, Jambi University. The population in this study was the class of 2017 which amounted to 129 students, the determination of sampling using the slovin formula with a sample of 97 students. The sampling technique used is simple random sampling. Data collection techniques using a questionnaire. Data analysis used descriptive statistical analysis and multiple regression analysis. The results of the descriptive analysis showed that the locus of control variable was in the low category, the adversity quotient variable was in the low category, and the Job Readiness variable was in the low category. The results of the study show that there is a simultaneous influence of Locus of control and Adversity quotient on Work Readiness, this can be seen from the results of the F test obtained that the Fcount value of 8.021 is greater than Ftable 3.09, with a probability value of 0.001 less than 0.05. Then the presentation of the contribution of the influence of the variable Locus of control (X1) and Adversity Quotient (X2) on the quality of Work Readiness (Y) is 14.6% the remaining 85.4% is influenced by other factors. The conclusion of this study shows that there is an influence of Locus of control and Adversity quotient on Job Readiness in Students of the Social Sciences Education Department, Jambi University.
