Abstract

Latar Belakang: Di Desa Jujun faktor ekonomi menjadi permasalahan terbesar yang dihadapi oleh remaja yang menikah pada usia dini. Pernikahan dini sering kali berpotensi pada kasus perceraian, kdrt, resiko meninggal pada ibu muda, dll. Hal ini disebabkan kurangnya kesiapan mental dan emosional pada pasangan yang menikah pada usia dini. Sikap remaja terhadap pernikahan dini terdiri dari komponen kognitif, afektif dan konatif. Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat gambaran sikap remaja Desa Jujun Kabupaten Kerinci terhadap pernikahan dini ditinjau dari komponen sikap dan klasifikasi lainnya yaitu: asal sekolah, jenis kelamin, kelas dan jurusan. Metode: Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif menggunakan metode deskriptif. Subjek penelitian sebanyak 137 orang yang merupakan siswa-siswi MAS Bhakti Kerapatan Jujun dan SMKN 6 Kerinci yang diperoleh dengan teknik total sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan secara offline menggunakan Kuesioner. Teknik analisa data menggunakan analisa univariat dengan menggunakan bantuan program aplikasi JASP. Hasil: Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa sebagian besar responden yakni sebesar 73 orang (53,3%) dari total keseluruhan 137 responden memberikan sikap dengan kategori rendah terhadap pernikahan dini dan sisanya 64 responden (46,7%) memberikan sikap dengan kategori sedang terhadap pernikahan dini dan tidak ada atau 0 orang responden yang memberikan sikap dengan kategori tinggi terhadap pernikahan dini. Kesimpulan dan Saran: Komponen afektif merupakan sikap yang lebih ditonjolkan pada remaja di Desa Jujun Kabupaten Kerinci terhadap pernikahan dini dan dapat disimpulkan bahwa sebagian besar responden bersikap negatif atau menolak terhadap pernikahan dini. Kata Kunci: pernikahan dini, remaja, sikap Background: In Jujun Village, economic factors were the biggest problem faced by teenagers who marry at an early age. Young marriage often has the potential for divorce, domestic violence, the risk of death for young mothers, etc. This was due to the lack of mental and emotional readiness in couples who marry at an early age. Teenager attitudes towards young marriage consist of cognitive, affective and conative components. Objective: This study was aimed to describe the attitude of teenager in Jujun Village, Kerinci Regency towards young marriage in terms of attitude components and other classifications, namely: school, origin, gender, class and major. Methods: This research was a quantitative research using descriptive method. The research subjects were 137 people who were students of MAS Bhakti Kerapatan Jujun and SMKN 6 Kerinci obtained by total sampling technique. Data collection was done offline using a questionnaire. The data analysis technique used univariate analysis using the help of the JASP application program. Results: The results showed that most of the respondents, namely 73 people (53.3%) of the total 137 respondents gave a low category attitude towards young marriage and the remaining 64 respondents (46.7%) gave a moderate attitude towards young marriage and none or 0 respondents gave a high category attitude towards young marriage. Conclusions and Suggestions: The affective component was the attitude that was more highlighted in teenagers in Jujun Village, Kerinci Regency towards young marriage and it can be concluded that most of the respondents have a negative attitude or refuse to young marriage.
