Abstract

Kata kunci: Strategi Guru, Minat Belajar, Matematika Guru memiliki peranan penting dalam pendidikan, terutama dalam kegiatan belajar mengajar. Keberhasilan pembelajaran dapat dilihat dari kemampuan guru dalam melaksanakan pembelajaran secara efektif dan efisien. Seorang guru harus memiliki kemampuan untuk merencanakan dan merancang pembelajaran agar tercapainya tujuan pembelajaran, serta guru harus terampil dalam memilih strategi pembelajaran yang akan digunakan. Pemilihan strategi disesuaikan dengan materi, kondisi, dan kemampuan siswa sehingga proses pembelajaran lebih optimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan strategi guru dalam menumbuhkan minat belajar siswa mata pelajaran matematika kelas IV di masa pandemi covid-19 di SD Negeri No. 76/IX Mendalo Darat. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan jenis fenomenologi. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SD Negeri No. 76/IX Mendalo Darat pada 10 Desember 2021 sampai 8 Januari 2022. Subjek penelitian adalah guru dan siswa kelas IV. Data penelitian diperoleh dengan cara observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Uji keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi teknik. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa strategi yang digunakan oleh guru melalui beberapa tahap yaitu tahap perencanaan, tahap pelaksanaan, dan tahap evaluasi. 1) tahap perencanaan guru menyiapkan RPP, sumber belajar, dan strategi pembelajaran 2) tahap pelaksanaan guru menerapkan strategi yang telah dirancang yaitu strategi menggunakan media, memberikan motivasi, memberikan hadiah (reward), menciptakan lingkungan belajar kondusif, dan mengajar sepenuh hati, 3) tahap evaluasi guru melakukan evaluasi terhadap strategi yang telah diterapkan dengan melihat rasa senang, keterlibatan, dan perhatian siswa dalam mengikuti pembelajaran matematika. The success of learning can be seen from the ability of teachers to carry out learning effectively and efficiently. A teacher must have the ability to plan and design learning in order to achieve learning objectives, and teachers must be skilled in choosing the learning strategies to be used. The selection of strategies is adjusted to the material, conditions, and abilities of students so that the learning process is more optimal. This study aims to describe the teacher's strategy in fostering student interest in learning mathematics in grade IV during the COVID-19 pandemic at SD Negeri No. 76/IX Mendalo Darat. This research is a qualitative research with the type of phenomenology. This research was conducted in SD Negeri No. 76/IX Mendalo Darat from 10 December 2021 to 8 January 2022. The research subjects are teachers and fourth grade students. Research data obtained by means of observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques are data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Test the validity of the data using triangulation techniques. The results of this study indicate that the strategy used by the teacher goes through several stages, namely the planning stage, the implementation stage, and the evaluation stage. 1) the planning stage of the teacher preparing lesson plans, learning resources, and learning strategies 2) the implementation stage of the teacher applying the strategies that have been designed, namely the strategy of using media, providing motivation, giving gifts (rewards), creating a conducive learning environment, and teaching wholeheartedly, 3) In the evaluation stage, the teacher evaluates the strategies that have been applied by looking at the pleasure, involvement, and attention of students in participating in mathematics learning.
