Abstract

ABSTRAK Sinar matahari dapat memberikan efek merugikan karena mengandung radiasi ultraviolet (UV) yang dapat menyebabkan eritema, sunburn, penuaan dini, hiperpigmentasi, tanning, radang dan kekeringan kulit. Hal ini dapat diatasi menggunakan sediaan kosmetik berupa lotion dengan SPF kemampuan ultra (>15) salah satunya bersumber dari fraksionat diklorometan kulit buah sukun. Tujuan penelitian membuat lotion mengandung SPF dari fraksionat diklorometan kulit buah sukun kombinasi niacinamide dan a-tokoferol secara in vitro. Kulit buah sukun diekstraksi dengan maserasi bertingkat menggunakan n-heksan dan diklorometan, difraksinasi dengan n-heksan dan etil asetat, uji antioksidan digunakan metode DPPH dan uji SPF menggunakan spektrofotometri. Formulasi lotion digunakan fraksi 1 dengan nilai SPF 24,71. Pengujian karakteristik fisik pada F1 (NA 1%, a-tokoferol 1%), F2 (NA 2%, a-tokoferol 0,8%), F3 (NA 3%, a-tokoferol 0,6%), F4 (NA 4%, a-tokoferol 0,4%), F5 (NA 5%, a-tokoferol 0,2%), K- (tanpa NA dan a-tokoferol) dan B (tanpa fraksi 1, NA dan a-tokoferol) telah memenuhi persyaratan SNI dengan organoleptis meliputi warna putih kehijauan, bau mawar, bentuk semi padat, konsistensi lembut dan homogen. Nilai pH (5,23-6,53), daya sebar (5,24-5,77 cm), daya lekat (1,31-1,76 detik) dan viskositas (4554,75-10509,36 cPs). Lotion dengan sifat fisik dan nilai SPF terbaik yaitu F5 (20,6). Kata kunci : sukun (Artocarpus altilis), SPF, lotion ABSTRACT Sunlight can have a detrimental effect because it contains ultraviolet (UV) radiation which can cause erythema, sunburn, premature aging, hyperpigmentation, tanning, inflammation and dryness of the skin. This can be overcome by using cosmetic preparations in the form of lotions with SPF ultra capability (>15), one of which is derived from the dichloromethane fraction of breadfruit peel. The aim of this research is to make a lotion containing SPF from the dichloromethane fraction of breadfruit peel combination of niacinamide and a-tocopherol in vitro. Breadfruit peel was extracted by graded maceration using nhexane and dichloromethane, fractionated with n-hexane and ethyl acetate, antioxidant test used DPPH method and SPF test using spectrophotometry. The lotion formulation used fraction 1 with an SPF value of 24,71. Physical characteristics test on F1 (NA 1%, a-tocopherol 1%), F2 (NA 2%, a-tocopherol 0.8%), F3 (NA 3%, a-tocopherol 0.6%), F4 (NA 4%, a-tocopherol 0.4%), F5 (NA 5%, a-tocopherol 0.2%), K- (without NA and a-tocopherol) and B (without fraction 1, NA and a-tocopherol) has met the requirements of SNI with organoleptic covering greenish white color, smell of roses, semi-solid form, soft and homogeneous consistency. The value of pH (5,23-6,53), dispersion (5,24-5,77 cm), adhesion (1,31-1,76 seconds) and viscosity (4554,75-10509,36 cPs). The lotion with the best physical properties and SPF value is F5 (20,6).
