Kata kunci : Bertanggung Jawab, Token Economy Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi dengan hasil pengamatan peneliti di lapangan yang menunjukkan bahwa karakter bertanggung jawab anak usia 4-5 tahun di TK Al-Azhar Kota Jambi yang masih belum berkembang. Hal ini dibuktikan dari temuan awal yaitu pada saat proses pembelajaran masih ada anak yang belum mampu mengerjakan tugas yang diberikan guru, anak sulit bertanggung jawab atas tugas yang diberikan guru, anak belum bisa merapikan kembali kursi yang telah dipakai, anak sulit membereskan dan mengembalikan kembali peralatan tulisnya sehabis digunakan, anak belum bisa menyelesaikan tugas tepat waktu, anak sulit bekerja dengan temannya dalam permainan, dan anak belum bisa membereskan mainan yang dimainkan bersama teman-temannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh token economy terhadap karakter bertanggung jawab anak usia 4-5 tahun. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen dengan pendekatan kuantitatif menggunakan metode Pre-Eksperimen Design dengan bentuk One Group Pretest Posttest Design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini di TK Al-Azhar Kota Jambi 25 anak. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan Purposive Sampling, 12 anak. Instrumen yang digunakan lembar observasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji normalitas, uji homogenitas dan uji hipotesis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan rata-rata skor pretest (tes awal) adalah 3,1666 dan rata-rata skor posttest (tes akhir) adalah 6,1666. Berdasarkan hasil analisis pada pretest dan posttest diperoleh harga t_hitung sebesar 9,269 bila dibandingkan dengan t_tabel 2,228 maka t_hitung > t_tabel. Ini menunjukkan pengaruh token economy terhadap karakter bertanggung jawab anak usia 4-5 tahun di TK Al-Azhar Kota Jambi. Pada taraf signifikan α = 0,05 adalah 2,228. Dengan demikian t_hitung (9,269) > t_tabel (2,228) ini menunjukkan terdapat pengaruh token economy terhadap karakter bertanggung jawab anak usia 4-5 tahun di TK Al-Azhar Kota Jambi yaitu berada pada interpretasi kuat dengan nilai 1,66 yang berada pada rentang > 1,00 dengan interpretasi kuat (Strong Effect). Keywords : Responsible, Token Economy This research is motivated by the results of observations of researchers in the field which show that the responsible character of children aged 4-5 years in Al-Azhar Kindergarten, Jambi City, is still underdeveloped. This is evidenced by the initial findings, namely during the learning process there are still children who have not been able to do the assignments given by the teacher, it is difficult for children to be responsible for the tasks given by the teacher, children have not been able to tidy up chairs that have been used, it is difficult for children to clean up and return equipment. he wrote after use, the child could not complete assignments on time, the child had difficulty working with his friends in games, and the child could not clean up the toys he played with his friends. This study aims to determine the effect of the token economy on the responsible character of children aged 4-5 years. This type of research is experimental research with a quantitative approach using the Pre-Experimental Design method in the form of One Group Pretest Posttest Design. The population in this study at the Al-Azhar Kindergarten, Jambi City, were 25 children. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling, 12 children. The instrument used is the observation sheet. The data analysis technique used is the normality test, homogeneity test and hypothesis testing. The results showed that the average pretest score (preliminary test) was 3.1666 and the average posttest score (final test) was 6.1666. Based on the results of the analysis on the pretest and posttest, the value of t_count is 9.269 when compared to t_table 2.228, so t_count > t_table. This shows the influence of the token economy on the responsible character of children aged 4-5 years at Al-Azhar Kindergarten, Jambi City. At a significant level α = 0.05 is 2.228. Thus t_count (9.269) > t_table (2.228) this shows that there is an influence of the token economy on the responsible character of children aged 4-5 years in Al-Azhar Kindergarten, Jambi City, which is in a strong interpretation with a value of 1.66 which is in the range > 1 .00 with a strong interpretation (Strong Effect).
