Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kualitas produk dan promosi terhadap minat beli pada Mahasiswa Pendidikan Ekonomi Angkatan 2019-2020 FKIP Universitas Jambi. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Universitas Jambi pada Mei 2023. Data penelitian diperoleh dengan cara menyebarkan angket kepada mahasiswa. Setelah angket dikembalikan, data dianalisis secara kuantitatif dengan rumus persentase. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan antara kualitas produk terhadap minat beli pada mahasiswa pendidikan ekonomi angkatan 2019-2020 FKIP Universitas Jambi, terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan antara promosi terhadap minat beli pada mahasiswa pendidikan ekonomi angkatan 2019-2020 FKIP Universitas Jambi dan terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan antara kualitas produk dan promosi terhadap minat beli pada mahasiswa pendidikan ekonomi angkatan 2019-2020 FKIP Universitas Jambi sebesar 66,9% dan sisanya 33,1% dipengaruhi variabel lain yang tidak diteliti. Dari hasil penelitian ini disarankan agar mahasiswa harus memperhatikan kualitas produk dan promosi yang menarik dalam melakukan proses pembelian. This study aims to determine the effect of product quality and promotion on buying interest in Economics Education Students Batch 2019-2020 FKIP University of Jambi. This research was conducted at Jambi University in May 2023. Research data was obtained by distributing questionnaires to students. After the questionnaire was returned, the data was analyzed quantitatively using the percentage formula. The results showed that there was a positive and significant influence between product quality on buying interest in economics education students class of 2019-2020 FKIP Jambi University, there was a positive and significant influence between promotions on buying interest in economics education students class of 2019-2020 FKIP Jambi University and there was The positive and significant influence between product quality and promotion on buying interest in economics education students class of 2019-2020 FKIP Jambi University was 66.9% and the remaining 33.1% was influenced by other variables not examined. From the results of this study it is suggested that students should pay attention to product quality and attractive promotions in making the buying process.
