Abstract
Learning English will be easier to learned if students have the right and effective strategies to deal with all English skills. The researcher is interested to Analyse the Students’ Language Learning Strategies, this research conducted at English Education Study Program in University of Jambi. the researcher just focus on three of senior students or those who need longer time to graduate, namely the Eighth, Tenth and Twelfth semester students as the participants. In this research, the researcher applied the descriptive qualitative research method. This research found, the language learning strategies used by students of the Jambi University English Education Study Program which analyzed by the O'Malley and Chammot theory. The strategies divided into Metacognitive Strategy, Cognitive Strategy and Social Affective Strategy.
