Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh komitmen organisasi dan motivasi terhadap kinerja guru di SMP Negeri 10 Kota Jambi. Data yang dikumpulkan pada setiap variabel tersebut merupakan fakta yang telah terjadi. Populasi penelitiannya seluruh SMP Negeri 10 Kota Jambi berjumlah 53 orang guru, teknik sampling yang diambil adalah total sampling. Teknik analisa data dengan menggunakan analisis deskriptif melalui bantuan apliskasi SPSS. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: (1) terdapat pengaruh signifikn antara komitmen organisasi memberikan pengaruh terhadap kinerja guru di SMP N 10 Kota Jambi sebesar 76%. (2) terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara motivasi terhadap kinerja guru di SMP Negeri 10 Kota Jambi sebesar 80% (3) terdapat pengaruh secara bersama-sama antara komitmen organisasi dan motivasi terhadap kinerja guru di SMP Negeri 10 Kota Jambi sebesar 65,5%. Disarankan untuk melakukan penelitian lebih lanjut terhadap faktor-faktor diluar variabel komitmen komitmen organisasi dan motivasi yang berpengaruh terhadap kinerja guru. Hal ini disebabkan, dalam penelitian ini kedua variabel ini hanya menjelaskan 65,5% pengaruhnya untuk menciptakan kinerja guru yang lebih tinggi. This research aims to find out how organizational commitment and motivation influence teacher performance at SMP Negeri 10 Jambi City. The data collected on each variable are facts that have occurred. The research population consisted of 53 teachers at SMP Negeri 10 Jambi City, the sampling technique used was total sampling. Data analysis techniques using descriptive analysis with the help of the SPSS application. The results of this research show that: (1) there is a significant influence between organizational commitment which influences teacher performance at SMP N 10 Jambi City by 76%. (2) there is a significant influence between motivation on teacher performance at SMP Negeri 10 Jambi City by 80% (3) there is a joint influence between organizational commitment and motivation on teacher performance at SMP Negeri 10 Jambi City by 65.5%. It is recommended to conduct further research on factors other than organizational commitment and motivation variables that influence teacher performance. This is because, in this study, these two variables only explain 65.5% of their influence in creating higher teacher performance.
