Abstract

Museum Siginjai Provinsi Jambi adalah Suatu badan tetap yang mempunyai fungsi memelihara dan mengelola secara sistematis koleksi-koleksi untuk keperluan kebudayaan, pendidikan dan ilmu pengetahuan serta bersifat publik. Konservasi adalah melestarikan benda atau bangunan cagar budaya konservasi pada hakikatnya untuk memberikan perlindungan terhadap artefak budaya pada masa lalu yang berupa pemeliharaan, pelestarian, pengamanan terhadap segala bentuk ngangguan dari dalam luar maupun dalam sehingga bisa bertahan lama. Penelitian ini untuk memngetahui efektifitas bahan tembakau dan asap cair dan mengetahui perbandingan bahan tembakau dan asap cair. Kajian ini menggunakan Metode konservasi kuratif dengan pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi serta analisis data. Hasil Penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa terdapat perbedaan antara kedua bahan dari biaya , efek terhadap hama, dan Efek Samping Konservan. Kata Kunci : Museum, Konservasi , Tembakau, Asap Cair. ABSTRACT Siginjai Museum Jambi Province is a permanent body that has the function of systematically maintaining and managing collections for cultural, educational and scientific purposes and is public. Conservation is preserving objects or buildings of cultural heritageconservation in essence to provide protection to cultural artifacts in the past in the form of maintenance, preservation, security against all forms of disturbance from outside and inside so that it can last a long time. This study is to determine the effectiveness of tobacco and liquid smoke materials and determine the ratio of tobacco and liquid smoke materials. This study uses the curative conservation method with data collection using observation and data analysis. The resultsof this study indicate that there is a difference between the two materials from the cost, effect on pests, and side effects of the conservant.
