Abstract

Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan prinsip kesantunan berbahasa dan prinsip kerja sama yang meliputi pematuhan dan pelanggaran kesantunan mahasiswa program studi Pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia di lingkungan Universitas Jambi. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan metode simak bebas libat cakap dengan teknik rekam dan teknik catat sebagai teknik lanjutannya. Data yang dianalisis menggunakan metode analisis deskriptif kualitatif dengan langkah-langkah mereduksi atau memilih pada hal pokok selanjutnya mengalisis dan mengkategorikan menurut bentuk referensial. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, diperoleh 24 tuturan penggunaan prinsip sopan santun dan prinsip kerja sama mahasiswa Pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia di lingkungan Universitas Jambi, yang terdiri dari 11 tuturan pematuhan dan 13 tuturan pelanggaran. Pematuhan dan pelanggaran terjadi pada maksim kearifan, maksim kedermawanan, maksim pujian, maksim kerendahan hati, maksim kesepakatan, maksim simpati, maksim kuantitas, maksim kualitas, maksim hubungan, dan maksim cara. Dari hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa, terdapat pematuhan dan pelanggaran prinsip sopan santun dan prinsip kerja sama dalam dalam tindak tutur mahasiswa Pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia di lingkungan Universitas Jambi. Serta penulis berharap, penelitian ini dapat bermanfaat bagi pembaca dalam membentuk sikap berbahasa yang sopan dan santun serta memperluas khazanah dalam kajian pragmatik. The aim of this research is to describe the principles of language politeness and the principles of cooperation which include compliance and violations of politeness committed by students of the Indonesian Language and Literature Education study program at Jambi University. The data collection method uses a free listening method involved with note-taking techniques and note-taking techniques as a follow-up technique. The data analyzed uses a qualitative descriptive analysis method with steps to reduce or select the main points, then analyze and categorize them according to referential form. Based on the results of data analysis, 24 utterances were obtained regarding the use of politeness and cooperation principles by Indonesian Language and Literature Education students at Jambi University, consisting of 11 obedient utterances and 13 violation utterances. Fulfillment and violations occur in the maxim of wisdom, the maxim of generosity, the maxim of praise, the maxim of humility, the maxim of approval, the maxim of sympathy, the maxim of quantity, the maxim of quality, the maxim of relationship, and the maxim of attitude. From the research results, it can be concluded that there is compliance and violation of the principles of politeness and the principle of cooperation in the speech acts of Indonesian Language and Literature Education students at Jambi University. And the author hopes that this research can be useful for readers in forming polite and polite language attitudes and expanding the treasures in the study of pragmatics.
