Abstract
ABSTRAK Wildah, Azza. 2023. Analisis Keselahan Konstruksi Konsep dalam Pemecahan Masalah Matematis Siswa Berdasarkan Pemberian Scaffolding. Program Studi Magister Pendidikan Matematika Universitas. Pembimbing: (I) Prof. Dr. Drs. Kamid, M.Si, (II) Dr. Drs. Haryanto Kata Kunci: Kesalahan konstruksi konsep, Pemecahan masalah, SPLTV, Scaffolding Pemahaman konsep dan kemampuan pemecahan masalah perlu untuk dimiliki siswa, termasuk pada mata pelajaran matematika. Kesalahan konstruksi konsep sering terjadi pada pembelajaran Sistem Persamaan Linear Tiga Variable (SPLTV). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui proses terjadinya kesalahan konstruksi konsep siswa, faktor-faktor penyebab dan cara siswa dalam mengatasi masalah dengan pemberian Scaffolding dalam menyelesaikan soal Sistem Persamaan Linear Tiga Variable (SPLTV). Data diperoleh dari hasil tes dan hasi wawancara kepada 6 siswa sebagai subjek penelitian. Dari hasil penelitian diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa kesalahan yang dialami siswa dalam pemecahan masalah matematika pada materi SPTV yaitu metode yang digunakan tidak sesuai yang diajarkan, salah dalam perhitungan, tidak membuat kesimpulan, dan salah pada tahap sebelumnya. Ditemukan bahwa faktor yang penyebab kesalahan siswa adalah kurang teliti dan keliru memahami konsep atau terlalu terpaku pada contoh soal. Setelah diberikan tahap-tahap scaffolding yaitu environmental provisions, explaining and reviewing, restructuring, developing conceptual thinking, siswa menjadi tahu dimana letak kesalahannya dan dapat memperbaikinya. Pemberian Scaffolding dapat menjadi refleksi bagi siswa sehingga meminimalisir kesalahan konstruksi konsep daam pemecahan masalah matematika. ABSTRACT Wildah, Azza. 2023. Haryanto Keywords: Concept construction errors, Troubleshooting, SPLTV, Scaffolding Understanding concepts and problem-solving skills need to be possessed by students, including in mathematics subjects. Concept construction errors often occur in learning the Three Variable Linear Equation System (SPLTV). This study aims to determine the process of student concept construction errors, causative factors and how students overcome problems by providing Scaffolding in solving Three Variable Linear Equation System (SPLTV) problems.Quantitative data were obtained from test results and interviews with 6 students as research subjects. From the results of the study, it was concluded that the errors experienced by students in solving mathematical problems in the SPTV material were that the method used was not as taught, wrong in calculation, did not make conclusions, and was wrong in the previous stage. It was found that the factors that caused student errors were lack of accuracy and misunderstanding of concepts or being too fixated on example questions. After being given the stages of Scaffolding, namely environmental provisions, explaining and reviewing, restructuring, developing conceptual thinking, students know where the mistakes lie and can correct them. The provision of Scaffolding can be a reflection for students so as to minimize errors in the construction of concepts in solving mathematical problems.
