Abstract

Tujuan dari dilaksanakanya penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengembangankan media pembelajaran Video Animasi Berbantuan Explain Everything App pada mata pelajaran IPAS di Kelas V Sekolah Dasar, dan mengetahui kevalidan serta kepraktisan dari media pembelajaran Video Animasi Berbantuan Explain Everything App pada mata pelajaran IPAS di Kelas V Sekolah Dasar. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian pengembangan (Research and Development) yang menggunakan pendekatan campuran (mix method) antara kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Model pengembangan yang diterapkan dalam penelitian ini adalah model ADDIE, yang terdiri dari lima tahap yaitu Analisis (Analysis), Desain (Design), Pengembangan (Development), Implementasi (Implementation), dan Evaluasi (Evaluation). Penelitian ini dilakukan di SDN 111/I Muara Bulian, Kecamatan Muara Bulian, Kabupaten Batang Hari, dengan melibatkan pendidik dan peserta didik sebagai subjek penelitian. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui validasi media, validasi materi, dan validasi bahasa. Selain itu, data juga diperoleh dari hasil angket respon pendidik dan peserta didik untuk menilai keterbacaan saat uji coba kelompok kecil dan kepraktisan saat uji coba kelompok besar. Data dianalisis menggunakan data kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa uji validasi oleh ahli media memperoleh skor rata-rata 4,5, dikategorikan sebagai sangat valid. Penilaian oleh ahli materi mendapatkan skor rata-rata 4,0 yang masuk dalam kategori valid, sementara validasi bahasa memperoleh skor rata-rata 4,8 yang juga dianggap sangat valid. Respon dari pendidik menghasilkan skor rata-rata 4,3 yang dikategorikan sebagai sangat praktis, dan respon dari peserta didik pada uji coba kelompok besar mendapatkan skor rata-rata 4,2 juga dalam kategori sangat praktis. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini, dapat disimpulkan bahwa pengembangan media pembelajaran Video Animasi Berbantuan Explain Everything App pada mata pelajaran IPAS di Kelas V Sekolah Dasar secara keseluruhan dapat digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran di sekolah. The aim of carrying out this research is to develop media learning the Animated Video Assisted by the Explain Everything App in the Social Sciences subject in Class V Elementary School, and knowing the validity and practicality of the learning media Video Animation Assisted by the Explain Everything App in the Social Sciences subject in Class V Elementary School. This research is a type of research and development that uses a mixed method between qualitative and quantitative. The development model applied in this research is the ADDIE model, which consists of five stages, namely Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation. This research was conducted at SDN 111/I Muara Bulian, Muara Bulian District, Batang Hari Regency, involving educators and students as research subjects. Research data was obtained through media validation, material validation, and language validation. Apart from that, data was also obtained from the results of teacher and student response questionnaires to assess readability during small group trials and practicality during large group trials. Data was analyzed using qualitative and quantitative data. The results of this research show that the validation test by media experts obtained an average score of 4.5, categorized as very valid. Assessment by material experts gets an average score of 4.0 which is in the valid category, while language validation gets an average score of 4.8 which is also considered very valid. Responses from educators produced an average score of 4.3 which was categorized as very practical, and responses from students in large group trials received an average score of 4.2 also in the very practical category. Based on the results of this research, it can be concluded that the development of the Explain Everything App-assisted Animation Video learning media in the science and sciences subject in Class V Elementary School as a whole can be used in the learning process at school.
