Abstract

ABSTRAK Kurikulum merdeka adalah kurikulum yang mengedepankan penguasaan kompetensi baik dari teori maupun praktik guna menghasilkan generasi yang inovatif dan kreatif. Kurikulum ini diterapkan di tingkat Sekolah Dasar (SD) hingga perguruan tinggi. Pengimplementasian kurikulum ini juga mencakup adanya penambahan program pengenalan lapangan persekolahan (PLP) pada pendidikan program profesi guru. Namun, beberapa guru pamong yang membimbing mahasiswa di lapangan merasa program PLP ini sebenarnya sama saja dengan program terdahulu yaitu praktik pengalaman lapangan (PPL). Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui persepsi pendidik terhadap Program Pengenalan Lapangan Persekolahan (PLP), Fakultas Keguruan Ilmu Pendidikan Universitas Jambi Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif deskriptif. Penelitian ini akan melihat bagaimana persepsi pendidik yang pernah menjadi guru pamong di SMAN 2 Kota Jambi dengan sampel 35 orang pendidik. Pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan metode survei dengan mengisi kuesioner. Analisis data deskriptif digunakan untuk menganalisis data yang telah dikumpulkan. Hasil penelitian ini adalah persepsi pendidik terhadap tahap persiapan PLP berada pada kategori sangat baik (100%). Persepsi pendidik terhadap tahap pelaksanaan PLP berada pada kategori kurang baik (50 %). Selanjutnya, persepsi pendidik terhadap tahap evaluasi PLP berada pada kategori tidak baik (5.71 %). Kesimpulan yang didapat adalah Persepsi pendidik terhadap (1) konsep dasar program Pengenalan Lingkungan Persekolahan (PLP) sangat baik, (2) pelaksanaan PLP kurang baik dan (3) evaluasi tidak baik. ABSTRACT The Independent Curriculum is a curriculum that emphasizes mastery of competencies in both theory and practice to produce innovative and creative generations. This curriculum is implemented from elementary school (SD) to university level. The implementation of this curriculum also includes the addition of the School Environment Introduction Program (PLP) in the teacher professional education program. However, some mentor teachers guiding students in the field feel that the PLP program is essentially the same as the previous Field Experience Practice (PPL) program. The aim of this research is to determine educators' perceptions of the School Environment Introduction Program (PLP) at the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, University of Jambi. This study is a descriptive quantitative research. It will examine the perceptions of educators who have served as mentor teachers at SMAN 2 Kota Jambi with a sample size of 35 educators. Data collection will be conducted using a survey method through questionnaire responses. Descriptive data analysis will be employed to analyze the collected data. The research findings indicate that educators' perceptions of the preparation stage of PLP are categorized as very good (100%). Perceptions of educators regarding the implementation stage of PLP are categorized as less favorable (50%). Furthermore, perceptions of educators regarding the evaluation stage of PLP are categorized as poor (5.71%). In conclusion, educators' perceptions indicate that (1) the basic concept of the School Environment Introduction Program (PLP) is very good, (2) the implementation of PLP is less favorable, and (3) the evaluation of PLP is poor.
