Abstract

Transportasi dapat menunjang aktivitas masyarakat dalam membantu mempermudah perpindahan manusia atau barang dari suatu tempat ke tempat lainnya dengan menggunakan kendaraan yang digerakan oleh manusia atau mesin. Permasalah pada transportasi darat pada daerah perkotaan adalah penumpukan dan tundaan yang sering terjadi akibat kepadatan kendaraan pada jalan perkotaan. Kota Jambi ibu kota Provinsi Jambi yang merupakan kota dengan penduduk 0,6 juta, dimana kota Jambi tergolong kedalam kategori kota menengah. Kepadatan Pergerakan di kota jambi sering mengakibatkan penumpukan dan tundaan pada waktu tertentu di beberapa ruas jalan yang menyebabkan terjadi penurunan terhadap kinerja ruas jalan salah satunya ruas jalan Kol. Amir Hamzah kota Jambi. Dalam penelitian ini penulis ingin melihat bagaimana kinerja ruas jalan Kol. Amir Hamzah dengan cara mengetahui derajat kejenuhan pada jalan tersebut. Adapun panduan atau acuan penulis dalam menganalisa kinerja ruas jalan adalah Pedoman Kapasitas Jalan Indonesia (PKJI) 2023 khususnya jalan perkotaan. Survei dilakukan selama 4 (empat) hari yaitu senin dan selasa (weekday) selanjutnya sabtu dan minggu (weekend). Berdasarkan data yang diperoleh dari hasil survei selama 4 (empat) hari tersebut dan setelah dilakukannya analisa maka diperoleh bahwa jam puncak volume lalu lintas pada titik ke 1 tercatat pada hari sabtu pukul 11.00-12.00 sebesar 1439,1 smp/jam dengan nilai derajat kejenuhan 0,47 (B). sedangkan volume lalu lintas pada titik ke 2 tercatat pada hari senin pukul 17.00-18.00 sebesar 1723,9 smp/jam dengan nilai derajat kejenuhan 0,57 (C). Dapat disimpulkan bahwa volume lalu lintas pada ruas jala Kol. Amir Hamzah tergolong stabil dan kondisi volume lalu lintas eksisting masih bisa ditampung. The problem with land transportation in urban areas is the accumulation and delay that often occurs due to the density of vehicles on urban roads. Jambi City is the capital of Jambi Province which is a city with a population of 0.6 million, where the city of Jambi is classified as a medium city. Movement density in the city of Jambi often results in accumulation and delays at certain times on several roads which causes a decrease in the performance of road sections, one of which is the Kol road section. Amir Hamzah of Jambi city. In this study, the author wants to see how the Kol road section performs. Amir Hamzah by knowing the degree of saturation on the road. The author's guide or reference in analyzing the performance of road sections is the 2023 Indonesian Road Capacity Guidelines (PKJI), especially urban roads. The survey was carried out for 4 (four) days, namely Monday and Tuesday (weekday), then Saturday and Sunday (weekend). Based on the data obtained from the results of the survey for 4 (four) days and after the analysis, it was obtained that the peak hour of traffic volume at point 1 was recorded on Saturday at 11.00-12.00 a.m. at 1439.1 smp/hour with a saturation degree value of 0.47 (B). Meanwhile, the traffic volume at point 2 was recorded on Monday at 05.00-06.00 p.m. at 1723,9 smp/hour with a saturation degree value of 0.57 (C). It can be concluded that the traffic volume on the Kola mesh section. Amir Hamzah is relatively stable and the condition of the existing traffic volume can still be accommodated.
