Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penerapan model time token untuk meningkatkan keaktifan belajar peserta didik pada pelajaran IPAS di kelas IV SDN 17/I Rantau Puri. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SD Negeri 17/I Rantau Puri, Kecamatan Muara Bulian, Kabupaten Batanghari, Provinsi Jambi. Bentuk penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan pendekatan kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan model Taggart dan Kemmis yang terdiri dari 4 tahapan, yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang dilakukan dengan menerapkan model time pada pembelajaran IPAS terlihat terjadi peningkatan keaktifan belajar peserta didik. Peningkatan keaktifan belajar peserta didik ditandai dengan memperhatikan tiap indikator keaktifan belajar, yaitu menjawab dan mengajukan pertanyaan, mencatat informasi penting, berdiskusi dalam kelompok, berpartisipasi secara aktif dalam menyimpulkan pembelajaran, dan berani mempresentasikan hasil diskusi di depan kelas. Hal ini terlihat dari peserta didik yang mengalami peningkatan keaktifan dalam pembelajaran dengan memperhatikan tiap indikator keaktifan pada kegiatan pembelajaran terlihat pada setiap pertemuan. Hasil dari penelitian siklus I Pertemuan I memperoleh persentase sebesar 45,75% dan pada pertemuan II sebesar 53,95% yang mengalami peningkatan sebanyak 8,2%. Siklus II pertemuan I memperoleh persentase 65,22% dan pertemuan II sebesar 80,65% yang mengalami peningkatan sebanyak 15,43%. Berdasarkan temuan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan keaktifan belajar peserta didik kelas IV SDN 17/I Rantau Puri dapat meningkat setelah diterapkan model pembelajaran time token. This research aims to describe the application of the time token model to increase students' active learning in science and science lessons in class IV SDN 17/I Rantau Puri. This research was conducted at SD Negeri 17/I Rantau Puri, Muara Bulian District, Batanghari Regency, Jambi Province. This form of research is Classroom Action Research (PTK) with a qualitative and quantitative approach. Data collection in this research was carried out through observation, interviews and documentation. This research uses the Taggart and Kemmis model which consists of 4 stages, namely planning, implementation, observation and reflection. Based on the results of research conducted by applying the time model to science and science learning, it appears that there has been an increase in students' learning activity. Increasing students' learning activeness is characterized by paying attention to each indicator of learning activeness, namely answering and asking questions, recording important information, discussing in groups, actively participating in concluding learning, and having the courage to present the results of discussions in front of the class. This can be seen from students who experience increased activeness in learning by paying attention to each indicator of activeness in learning activities seen at each meeting. The results from the first cycle of research, meeting I, obtained a percentage of 45.75% and at meeting II it was 53.95%, which was an increase of 8.2%. Cycle II, meeting I obtained a percentage of 65.22% and meeting II was 80.65%, which was an increase of 15.43%. Based on the research findings, it can be concluded that the learning activity of class IV students at SDN 17/I Rantau Puri can increase after implementing the time token learning model.
