Abstract

Pembelajaran berbasis proyek (Project Based Learning) berkaitan erat dengan kemampuan berpikir kritis dan pemecahan masalah siswa dalam pembelajaran biologi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kemampuan berpikir kritis dan pemecahan masalah siswa melalui model pembelajaran Project Based Learning pada pelaksanaan kurikulum merdeka dan menganalisis keterlaksanaan model pembelajaran Project Based Learning pada pelaksanaan kurikulum merdeka. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif. Penelitian dilaksanakan di SMA Negeri 3 Kota Jambi dengan subjek penelitian terdiri dari 36 siswa kelas X E10. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan yaitu cluster random sampling. Instrumen pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi keterlaksanaan Project Based Learning oleh guru dan siswa, angket siswa, tes siswa, dan wawancara guru biologi terkait kemampuan berpikir kritis dan pemecahan masalah siswa. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran Project Based Learning di SMAN 3 Kota Jambi sudah terlaksana sesuai sintaks. Persentase kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa setiap indikator yaitu focus 78,47%, reason 70,14%, inference 70,14%, situation 74,31%, clarity 69,44%, dan overview 69,44% dengan kategori baik. Persentase kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa setiap indikator yaitu read and think 77,92%, explore and plan 73,61%, select a strategy 71,53%, find and answer 64,44%, dan reflect and extend 77,08% dengan kategori baik. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa kemampuan berpikir kritis dan pemecahan masalah siswa pada keterlaksanaan model pembelajaran Project Based Learning di SMA Negeri 3 Kota Jambi sudah tergolong baik. Project-based learning (Project Based Learning) is closely related to students' critical thinking and problem solving abilities in biology learning. This research aims to analyze students' critical thinking and problem solving skills through the Project Based Learning learning model in the implementation of the independent curriculum and analyze the implementation of the Project Based Learning learning model in the implementation of the independent curriculum. This research is a quantitative descriptive research. The research was carried out at SMA Negeri 3 Jambi City with research subjects consisting of 36 students of class X E10. The sampling technique used was cluster random sampling. The data collection instruments used were observations of the implementation of Project Based Learning by teachers and students, student questionnaires, student tests, and interviews with biology teachers regarding students' critical thinking and problem solving abilities. Based on the research results, it shows that the implementation of the Project Based Learning learning model at SMAN 3 Jambi City has been implemented according to the syntax. The percentage of students' critical thinking abilities for each indicator is focus 78.47%, reason 70.14%, inference 70.14%, situation 74.31%, clarity 69.44%, and overview 69.44% in the good category. The percentage of students' problem solving abilities for each indicator is read and think 77.92%, explore and plan 73.61%, select a strategy 71.53%, find and answer 64.44%, and reflect and extend 77.08% by category Good. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that students' critical thinking and problem solving abilities in the implementation of the Project Based Learning learning model at SMA Negeri 3 Jambi City are considered good.
