Abstract

Penggunaan game edukasi dapat membantu terlaksanaya pembelajaran kimia yag lebih efektif, mandiri, media pembelajaran dalam bentuk permainan yang dapat merangsang kemampuan berpikir, meningkatkan konsentrasi, memahami konsep, mempelajari pengetahuan, dan mengembangkan keterampilan memecahkan masalah, serta untuk mencapai tujuan pendidikan. Google sites adalah platform untuk membuat dan berbagi halaman web, sedangkan wordwall adalah aplikasi berbasis web yang dapat digunakan untuk membuat media pembelajaran interaktif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kelayakan media game edukasi berbantuan google sites dan wordwall berorientasi kemampuan berpikir kritis menurut ahli materi dan ahli media, mengetahui penilaian guru bidang studi kimia dan mengetahui respon peserta didik terhadap media yang dikembangkan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan menggunakan model pengembangan Lee & Owens (2004). Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan berupa lembar pedoman wawancara dan angket. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu analisis data kualitatif (komentar dan saran) dan analisis data kuantitatif (rata-rata skor jawaban dan persentase). Hasil dari penelitian ini bahwa media game edukasi berbantuan google sites dan wordwall berorientasi kemampuan berpikir kritis mendapat hasil kelayakan ahli materi sebesar 88,2% (Sangat Layak), ahli media sebesar 89,3% (Sangat Layak), penilaian guru sebesar 95,6% (Sangat Layak), serta mendapatkan respon yang sangat baik dari peserta didik dengan persentase respon peserta didik sebesar 85,45%. Berdasarkan pengembangan dan hasil penelitian yang diperoleh dapat disimpulkan bahwa media game edukasi berbantuan google sites dan wordwall berorientasi kemampuan berpikir kritis dinyatakan layak oleh ahli materi, ahli media, dan guru serta mendapatkan respon sangat baik oleh peserta didik. The use of educational games can help implement more effective, independent chemistry learning, learning media in the form of games that can stimulate thinking skills, improve concentration, understand concepts, learn knowledge, and develop problem-solving skills, and to achieve educational goals. Google sites is a platform for creating and sharing web pages, while wordwall is a web-based application that can be used to create interactive learning media. This study aims to determine the feasibility of educational game media assisted by google sites and wordwalls oriented to critical thinking skills according to material experts and media experts, to find out the assessment of chemistry subject teachers and to find out students' responses to the media developed. This study is a development research using the Lee & Owens (2004) development model. The research instruments used were interview guide sheets and questionnaires. The data analysis techniques used were qualitative data analysis (comments and suggestions) and quantitative data analysis (average answer scores and percentages). The results of this study are that educational game media assisted by Google sites and wordwalls oriented towards critical thinking skills received a feasibility result from material experts of 88.2% (Very Feasible), media experts of 89.3% (Very Feasible), teacher assessment of 95.6% (Very Feasible), and received a very good response from students with a percentage of student responses of 85.45%. Based on the development and research results obtained, it can be concluded that educational game media assisted by Google sites and wordwalls oriented towards critical thinking skills were declared feasible by material experts, media experts, and teachers and received a very good response from students.
