Abstract

ABSTRAK Background: The pre-research survey at Bumdesma Baylen Keren LKD Bayung Lencir Subdistrict showed low job satisfaction, characterized by imbalance in work engagement, environmental discomfort, and increased employee turnover. Method: This study aims to analyze the relationship of physical work environment, non-physical work environment, and work-life balance to employee job satisfaction. Using a cross-sectional observational design with a quantitative approach. Results: The results showed 51.4% of respondents were satisfied with their jobs. The physical work environment was rated good by 71.4% of respondents and had a significant relationship with job satisfaction (p = 0.001). The non-physical work environment was rated as good by 62.9% of respondents, but did not show a significant relationship (p = 0.126). A total of 54.3% of respondents felt they achieved work-life balance, with a significant relationship to job satisfaction (p = 0.011). Conclusion: It was concluded that the factors associated with job satisfaction were physical work environment and work-life balance, while non-physical work environment was not statistically significant. Keywords: Job Satisfaction, Work Environment, Work-Life Balance   ABSTRAK Latar Belakang: Survei pra-penelitian di Bumdesma Baylen Keren LKD Kecamatan Bayung Lencir menunjukkan rendahnya kepuasan kerja, ditandai ketidakseimbangan keterlibatan kerja, ketidaknyamanan lingkungan, dan peningkatan turnover karyawan. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis hubungan lingkungan kerja fisik, lingkungan kerja non-fisik, dan work-life balance terhadap kepuasan kerja pegawai. Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan desain observasional cross-sectional dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Hasil: Hasil menunjukkan 51,4% responden merasa puas dengan pekerjaannya. Lingkungan kerja fisik dinilai baik oleh 71,4% responden dan memiliki hubungan signifikan dengan kepuasan kerja (p = 0,001). Lingkungan kerja non-fisik dinilai baik oleh 62,9% responden, namun tidak menunjukkan hubungan signifikan (p = 0,126). Sebanyak 54,3% responden merasa mencapai work-life balance, dengan hubungan signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja (p = 0,011). Kesimpulan: Disimpulkan bahwa faktor yang berhubungan dengan kepuasan kerja adalah lingkungan kerja fisik dan work-life balance, sedangkan lingkungan kerja non-fisik tidak signifikan secara statistik.
