Skripsi ini merupakan hasil penelitian yang mendeskripsikan seberapa besar peran guru dalam menumbuhkan minat membaca Al-Qur’an anak di TK Al-Qur’an Jauharul Wathon Muaro Jambi. Adapun yang melatarbelakangi penulis tertarik untuk membuat skripsi ini didasarkan pada hasil pengamatan dan wawancara awal yang penulis lakukan dengan salah satu guru TK Al-Qur’an Jauharul Wathon Muaro Jambi, dimana sebagian besar anak sangat berminat untuk membaca dan mengamalkan Al-Qur’an. Saat ini peran guru dalam menumbuhkan minat membaca Al-Qur’an pada anak juga tidak terlepas dari upaya guru. Terlebih anak usia dini yang notabene masih banyak sekali yang belum mampu memerlukan bimbingan yang lebih untuk menumbuhkan minat baca Al-Qur’an pada anak tersebut. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui kuesioner (angket) dan wawancara. Adapun dalam penentuan sampel penulis menggunakan teknik sampling jenuh yaitu semua populasi dijadikan sampel, selanjutnya untuk menganalisis data pada penelitian ini digunakan rumus persentase dari hasil pengisian angket. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, menunjukkan bahwa analisis peran guru dalam menumbuhkan minat membaca Al-Qur’an anak secara umum berada pada kategori “Baik” dengan berdasarkan persentase hasil sebaran angket mencapai 71,92%. Dari hasil penelitian dan pembahasan yang dilakukan, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa peran guru dalam menumbuhkan minat membaca Al-Qur’an anak di TK Al-Qur’an Jauharul Wathon Muaro Jambi memiliki peran yang baik dalam menumbuhkan minat membaca Al-Qur’an anak. This thesis is the result of a study that describes how big the role of teachers is in fostering children's interest in reading the Qur'an at the Jauharul Wathon Muaro Jambi Al-Qur'an Kindergarten. The background to the author's interest in writing this thesis is based on the results of observations and initial interviews that the author conducted with one of the teachers at the Jauharul Wathon Muaro Jambi Al-Qur'an Kindergarten, where most of the children were very interested in reading and practicing the Qur'an. Currently, the role of teachers in fostering interest in reading the Qur'an in children is also inseparable from the efforts of teachers. Moreover, early childhood children who are still many who are not able to need more guidance to foster interest in reading the Qur'an in these children. The research method used is a quantitative descriptive research method with data collection techniques through questionnaires and interviews. In determining the sample, the author used a saturated sampling technique, namely all populations were used as samples, then to analyze the data in this study, the percentage formula was used from the results of filling out the questionnaire. Based on the results of the study, it shows that the analysis of the role of teachers in fostering children's interest in reading the Qur'an is generally in the "Good" category based on the percentage of questionnaire distribution results reaching 71.92%. From the results of the research and discussion conducted, it can be concluded that the role of teachers in fostering children's interest in reading the Qur'an at TK Al-Qur'an Jauharul Wathon Muaro Jambi has a good role in fostering children's interest in reading the Qur'an.
