Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan dan mendeskripsikan suatu modul elektronik interaktif berbasis Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Mathematics (STEAM) dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis pada materi teorema pythagoras siswa Kelas VIII. Jenis penelitian adalah penelitian pengembangan dengan model ADDIE yaitu analisis (analyze), desain (design), pengembangan (development), implementasi (implementation), dan evaluasi (evaluation). Subjek penelitian melibatkan siswa kelas VIII.F SMPN 14 Kota Jambi, guru matematika kelas VIII.F SMPN 14 Kota Jambi, serta dosen Pendidikan Matematika FKIP Universitas Jambi sebagai tim ahli validasi materi dan validasi desain. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa modul elektronik interaktif berbasis Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Mathematics (STEAM) dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis pada materi pythagoras siswa SMP memperoleh tingkat kevalidan 91,57% pada aspek desain dan 81,05% pada aspek materi, keduanya dengan kriteria Sangat Valid. Dari segi kepraktisan, guru memberikan penilaian 94% dengan kriteria Sangat Praktis , sementara siswa 88,60% dengan kriteria Sangat Praktis. Keefektifan modul diukur berdasarkan angket efektifitas oleh sisa dengan skor 79,90 dengan kriteria tinggi dan N-Gain sebesar 0,74 dengan peningkatan tinggi, dengan persentase keefektifan N-Gain sebesar 74% dengan kriteria Cukup Efektif. Dengan demikian, Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan modul elektronik interaktif berbasis Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Mathematics (STEAM) dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berikir kritis pada materi pythagoras siswa SMP ini terbukti dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa pada materi Pythagoras. This research aims to produce and describe a module interactive based electronics Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics (STEAM) in improving critical thinking skills on theorem material Pythagoras, a Class VIII student. The type of research is development research with the ADDIE model, namely analysis (analyze), design (design), development (development), implementation (implementation), and evaluation (evaluation). The research subject involves students class VIII.F SMPN 14 Jambi City, mathematics teacher class VIII.F SMPN 14 Kota Jambi, as well as lecturers in Mathematics Education, FKIP, Jambi University as a team of experts material validation and design validation. The research results show that the Science-based interactive electronic module, Technology, Engineering, Art, Mathematics (STEAM) in improving Critical thinking skills in Pythagorean material for junior high school students gained a level validity of 91.57% in the design aspect and 81.05% in the material aspect of both with Very Valid criteria. In terms of practicality, the teacher provides an assessment 94% with Very Practical criteria, while 88.60% of students with criteria Very Practical. The effectiveness module is measured based on the residual effectiveness questionnaire with a score of 79.90 with high criteria and an N-Gain of 0.74 with high increase, with an N-Gain effectiveness percentage of 74% with Quite Effective criteria.
