Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan proses pembelajaran yang menggunakan model pembelajaran Project Based Learning , dan bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan peningkatan keaktifan belajar peserta didik dalam pembelajaran IPAS melalui model pembelajaran Project Based Learning di kelas V SDN 209/IV Penyengat Rendah. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas. Data yang dikumpulkan pada penelitian ini adalah proses pembelajaran menggunakan model pembelajaran Project Based Learning dan keaktifan belajar peserta didik dalam pembelajaran IPAS melalui teknik pengumpulan data observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Data dianalisis secara kualitatif dan kuantitatif untuk mengukur perubahan yang terjadi terhadap keaktifan belajar peserta didik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada proses pembelajaran menggunakan tahapan pembelajaran Project Based Learning sudah dilaksanakan dengan baik oleh guru selama II siklus. Proses pembelajaran terlaksana tepat sasaran sesuai langkah pembelajaran serta peserta didik mampu mengikuti proses pembelajaran dengan baik sesuai instruksi. Selain itu, model pembelajaran Project Based Learning dapat meningkatkan keaktifan belajar peserta didik dalam mata pembelajaran IPAS. Hal ini dibuktikan dari hasil penelitian yang menunjukkan peningkatan keaktifan belajar peserta didik pada setiap siklus. Pada siklus I pertemuan pertama mendapatkan hasil 43,5% dan mengalami peningkatan pada pertemuan kedua yaitu mencapai 68%. Pada siklus II pertemuan pertama hasilnya mencapai 78%, dan mengalami peningkatan pada pertemuan kedua yang mencapai 82%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang sudah dilaksanakan maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran Project Based Learning dinyatakan dapat meningkatkan keaktifan belajar peserta didik pada mata pelajaran IPAS di kelas V SDN 209/IV Penyengat Rendah yang ditandai dengan tercapainya indikator keberhasilan. This study aims to describe the learning process using the Project Based Learning learning model, and aims to describe the increase in student learning activity in science learning through the Project Based Learning learning model in class V SDN 209/IV Penyengat Rendah. The type of research used is classroom action research. The data collected in this study are the learning process using the Project Based Learning learning model and student learning activity in science learning through observation, interview, and documentation data collection techniques. Data were analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively to measure changes that occur in student learning activity. The results of the study indicate that the learning process using the Project Based Learning learning stages has been implemented well by the teacher during cycle II. The learning process is carried out right on target according to the learning steps and students are able to follow the learning process well according to instructions. In addition, the Project Based Learning learning model can increase student learning activity in science subjects. This is evidenced by the results of the study which show an increase in student learning activity in each cycle. In cycle I, the first meeting got a result of 43.5% and increased in the second meeting, reaching 68%. In cycle II, the first meeting, the results reached 78%, and increased in the second meeting which reached 82%. Based on the results of the research that has been carried out, it can be concluded that the application of the Project Based Learning learning model is stated to be able to increase the learning activity of students in the subject of Science in class V SDN 209/IV Penyengat Rendah which is marked by the achievement of success indicators.
