Abstract

Penelitian ini mendeskripsikan struktur dan fungsi sosial Tale Nasihat Pernikahan masyarakat Desa Sungai Liuk, Kota Sungai Penuh. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, data utama berupa dokumen teks Tale Nasihat Pernikahan serta dokumentasi audio prosesi sastra lisan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Tale Nasihat Pernikahan memiliki diksi arkais, pola rima a-b-a-a-b dan a-a-a-a, serta ritme teratur yang memperindah pelantunan. Pengimajian melibatkan imaji penglihatan dengan kata konkret yang memperjelas makna, sementara majas terdapat majas alegori, hiperbola dan litotes. Tema tale nasihat pernikahan yang dominan mencakup nasihat hubungan suami istri, kebersamaan, kasih sayang, dan kekcewaan yang berkaitan dengan nada dan rasa yang diungkapkan oleh petale. Rasa yang dominan berupa kebijaksanaan dan kesedihan serta nada persuasif yang mendukung suasana. Amanat Tale Nasihat Pernikahan menekankan pentingnya keharmonisan pernikahan dan menjaga hubungan baik dengan orang lain. Secara fungsional, tale ini berperan sebagai sebagai alat pendidikan yang memberikan pengajaran normatif. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, disimpulkan bahwa Tale Nasihat Pernikahan memiliki struktur yang kompleks artinya terdiri dari banyak unsur yang saling berhubungan dan membentuk satu kesatuan utuh, serta fungsi sosial yang multifungsi dalam kehidupan masyarakat Sungai Liuk. This study describes the structure and social function of Tale Nasihat Pernikahan in the community of Sungai Liuk Village, Sungai Penuh City. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, the primary data consists of the textual documentation of Tale Nasihat Pernikahan and audio recordings of its oral literary performance. The findings indicate that Tale Nasihat Pernikahan features archaic diction, rhyme patterns of a-b-a-a-b and a-a-a-a, and a regular rhythm that enhances its recitation. Its imagery primarily involves visual imagery with concrete words that clarify meaning, while figurative language includes allegory, hyperbole, and litotes. The dominant themes of Tale Nasihat Pernikahan encompass advice on marital relationships, togetherness, affection, and disappointment, which correspond to the tone and emotions conveyed by the petale (reciter). The predominant emotions expressed are wisdom and sadness, accompanied by a persuasive tone that reinforces the atmosphere. The moral message of Tale Nasihat Pernikahan emphasizes the importance of marital harmony and maintaining good relationships with others. Functionally, Tale Nasihat Pernikahan serves as an educational tool that imparts normative teachings. Based on the findings, it is concluded that Tale Nasihat Pernikahan has a complex structure, meaning it comprises multiple interrelated elements that form a unified whole. Additionally, it has a multifunctional social role in the lives of the Sungai Liuk community.
