Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kepemimpinan visioner kepala sekolah dan motivasi kerja terhadap kepuasan kerja guru serta untuk mengetahui pengaruh kepemimpinan visioner kepala sekolah terhadap motivasi kerja di SMAN 6 Muaro Jambi. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan teknik analisis data Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) dengan bantuan aplikasi software SmartPLS 3.0. Data yang dikumpulkan pada setiap variabel tersebut merupakan fakta yang telah terjadi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian survey. Populasi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah guru sebanyak 40 orang di SMAN 6 Muaro Jambi. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik sampling jenuh/sensus. Sampel dalam penelitian adalah jumlah seluruh populasi sebanyak 40 guru. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa: (1) terdapat pengaruh yang positif namun tidak signifikan antara kepemimpinan visioner kepala sekolah dengan kepuasan kerja guru dengan nilai p-value > 0.05 yaitu sebesar 0.513 dengan nilai T-statistik 0.564 serta nilai koefisien jalur sebesar 0.155 (2) terdapat pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan antara motivasi kerja dengan kepuasan kerja guru dengan nilai p-value < 0.05 yaitu sebesar 0.000 dengan nilai T-statistik 7.523 serta nilai koefisien jalur sebesar 0.777. (3) terdapat pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan antara kepemimpinan visioner kepala sekolah dengan motivasi kerja dengan nilai p-value < 0.05 yaitu sebesar 0.002 dengan nilai T-statistik 3.121 serta nilai koefisien jalur sebesar 0.631. This study aims to examine the effect of the principal's visionary leadership and work motivation on teacher job satisfaction, as well as to determine the effect of the principal's visionary leadership on work motivation at SMAN 6 Muaro Jambi. The approach used in this study is a quantitative approach with Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) data analysis technique, supported by the SmartPLS 3.0 software application. The data collected for each of these variables is based on factual events that have occurred. This research is a survey study. The population used in this study consists of 40 teachers at SMAN 6 Muaro Jambi. The sampling technique used is saturated/census sampling, where the sample is the entire population of 40 teachers. The results of the study show that: (1) There is a positive but not significant effect of the principal's visionary leadership on teacher job satisfaction, with a p-value > 0.05, specifically 0.513, a T-statistic value of 0.564, and a path coefficient of 0.155. (2) There is a positive and significant effect of work motivation on teacher job satisfaction, with a p-value < 0.05, specifically 0.000, a T-statistic value of 7.523, and a path coefficient of 0.777. (3) There is a positive and significant effect of the principal's visionary leadership on work motivation, with a p-value < 0.05, specifically 0.002, a T-statistic value of 3.121, and a path coefficient of 0.631.
