Abstract
Kemampuan critical thinking dan creativity di pembelajaran abad 21 menjadi hal penting dan wajib dimiliki oleh siswa. Model pembelajaran yang diharapkan dapat meningkatkan critical thinking dan creativity siswa pada pembelajaran biologi adalah model Project Based Learning (PjBL). Pembelajaran biologi di SMA yang menggunakan model PjBL memerlukan instrumen penilaian untuk dapat menilai tinggi atau rendahnya kemampuan critical thinking dan creativity. Tujuan pengembangan ini adalah untuk mengetahui validitas (face validity, content validity, construct validity, criterion validity) dan reliabilitas instrumen penilaian critical thinking dan creativity yang dikembangkan. Penelitian dilaksanakan di SMA Negeri 11 Muaro Jambi. Penelitian dan pengembangan mengikuti tahapan dari model pengembangan DeVellis & Thorpe (2022), yang terdiri dari 9 tahap: menentukan hal yang ingin diukur (determine clearly what is you want to measure), membuat kumpulan item (generate an item pool), menentukan format pengukuran (determine the format for measurement), peninjauan kumpulan item awal oleh ahli (have initial item pool reviewed by experts), wawancara kognitif (cognitive interviewing), menentukan komponen-komponen validasi (consider inclusion of validation items), uji coba lapangan (administer item to a development sample), mengevaluasi item (evaluate the item), mengoptimalkan jangkauan skala (optimize scale length). Subjek uji coba pada penelitian ini adalah 75 siswa dengan tingkatan yang berbeda Fase E (kelas X) dan Fase F (kelas XI dan XII). Instrumen penilaian critical thinking dan creativity dinyatakan valid dengan nilai validitas: face validity dan content validity memiliki nilai CVI ≥ 0,79, construct validity memiliki nilai Loading factor ≥ 0,6, PLS AVE ≥ 0,5, dan criterion validity mencapai syarat signifikasi > 0,05, yakni memiliki nilai r hitung > r tabel. Nilai reliabilitas critical thinking dengan cronbach’s alpha sebesar 0,905 dan nilai reliabilitas creativity dengan cronbach’s alpha sebesar 0,888 dengan kategori sangat tinggi. Nilai composite reliability critical thinking rentang 0,782-0,903 dengan kategori tinggi dan nilai composite reliability creativity rentang 0,805-0,886. dengan kategori tinggi. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa pengembangan instrumen penilaian critical thinking dan creativity layak digunakan untuk mengukur critical thinking dan creativity yang dimiliki oleh siswa. The ability of critical thinking and creativity in 21st century learning is important and must be owned by students. The learning model that is expected to improve students' critical thinking and creativity in biology learning is the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model. Biology learning in high school that uses the PjBL model requires an assessment instrument to be able to assess the high or low ability of critical thinking and creativity. The purpose of this development is to determine the validity (face validity, content validity, construct validity, criterion validity) and reliability of the developed critical thinking and creativity assessment instruments. The research was conducted at SMA Negeri 11 Muaro Jambi.
