Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan proses pengembangan dan kualitas video pembelajaran menggunakan problem based learning untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis siswa MTs ditinjau dari valid, prakis, dan efektif. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan dengan model ADDIE, yaitu analisis (analyze), desain (design), pengembangan (development), implementasi (implementation), dan evaluasi (evaluation). Subjek penelitian ini adalah dosen Pendidikan Matematika FKIP Universitas Jambi sebagai tim ahli validasi, guru matematika dan siswa kelas VIII.3 MTs Negeri 3 Batanghari. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bawah video pembelajaran menggunakan problem based learning untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis siswa MTS berdasarkan dari kualitas valid, praktis, dan efektif memperoleh hasil tingkat kevalidan aspek materi mencapai persentase 88% dengan kategori sangat valid, dan aspek media mencapai persentase 80% dengan kategori valid. Selanjutnya tingkat kepraktisan dilihat dari angket praktikalitas oleh guru memperoleh persentase 95% dengan kategori sangat praktis, dan tingkat kepraktisan angket praktikalitas oleh siswa memperoleh persentase 93% dengan kategori sangat praktis. Berikutnya tingkat keefektifan berdasarkan hasil angket efektivitas oleh siswa memperoleh persentase 95% dengan kategori sangat efektif, serta tingkat keefektifan berdasarkan hasil tes kemampuan berpikir kritis memperoleh rata-rata 84,75% dengan kategori tinggi. Adapun hasil nilai N-Gain sebesar 0.72 dengan kategori peningkatan tinggi, serta persentase keefektifan N-Gain sebesar 72% yang berada dalam kategori cukup efektif. Dengan demikian diketahui bahwa kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis siswa dapat dikembangkan dengan video pembelajaran menggunakan problem based learning. This study aims to describe the development process and quality of learning videos using problem-based learning to improve critical mathematical thinking skills of MTs students in terms of validity, practicality, and effectiveness. This study is a development research with the ADDIE model, namely analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The subjects of this study were lecturers of Mathematics Education, FKIP, Jambi University as a validation expert team, mathematics teachers and students of class VIII.3 MTs Negeri 3 Batanghari. The results of the study showed that the learning video using problem-based learning to improve the critical thinking skills of MTS students in mathematics based on valid, practical, and effective quality obtained the results of the validity level of the material aspect reaching 88% with a very valid category, and the media aspect reaching 80% with a valid category. Furthermore, the level of practicality seen from the practicality questionnaire by the teacher obtained a percentage of 95% with a very practical category, and the level of practicality of the practicality questionnaire by students obtained a percentage of 93% with a very practical category.Next, the level of effectiveness based on the results of the effectiveness questionnaire by students obtained a percentage of 95% with a very effective category, and the level of effectiveness based on the results of the critical thinking ability test obtained an average of 84.75% with a high category. The results of the N-Gain value were 0.72 with a high increase category, and the percentage of N-Gain effectiveness was 72% which was in the fairly effective category. Thus, it is known that students' mathematical critical thinking skills can be developed with learning videos using problem-based learning.
