Abstract

ABSTRAK REZA DELVINA. Analisis Faktor-Faktor yang Mempengaruhi Ekspor Cengkeh Indonesia ke Negara Tujuan Utama. Dibimbing oleh Bapak Prof. Dr. Ir. Dompak MT Napitupulu, M.Sc. dan Ibu Dr. Mirawati Yanita, S.P., M.M. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) Untuk menganalisis tren perkembangan volume ekspor cengkeh Indonesia ke tiga negara tujuan utama dan faktor faktor yang mempengaruhinya dari tahun 1994-2023, dan (2) Menganalisis pengaruh jumlah produksi, harga ekspor, nilai tukar (kurs), GDP perkapita negara tujuan utama, jarak ekonomi negara tujuan utama dan kebijakan pemerintah terhadap volume ekspor cengkeh Indonesia ke negara tujuan utama pada periode 1994-2023. Data yang digunakan adalah sekunder. Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis data time series dan cross section dengan metode regresi data panel melalui pendekatan gravity model. Hasil analisis menemukan bahwa volume ekspor cengkeh Indonesia ke negara tujuan utama mengalami fluktuasi cenderung meningkat dari tahun 1994-2023, peningkatan volume ekspor diikuti oleh variabel produksi cengkeh Indonesia, harga ekspor, nilai tukar, GDP perkapita negara tujuan, jarak ekonomi dan kebijakan pemerintah. Hasil estimasi menggunakan Fixed Effect Model secara bersama-sama produksi, harga ekspor, kurs, jarak ekonomi dan kebijakan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap volume ekspor cengkeh Indonesia. Secara parsial variable produksi, harga, dan kurs berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap volume ekspor, GDP perkapita negara tujuan berpengaruh positif namun tidak signifikan, sedangkan jarak ekonomi dan kebijakan berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap volume ekspor cengkeh Indonesia. This study aims to: (1) analyze the trends in the volume of Indonesia’s clove exports to its three main destination countries and the influencing factors during the period 1994–2023, and (2) examine the effects of production volume, export price, exchange rate, per capita GDP of the destination countries, economic distance, and government policies on the volume of Indonesia’s clove exports over the same period. The study utilizes secondary data and applies panel data regression analysis using a gravity model approach, combining both time series and cross-sectional data. The results show that Indonesia’s clove export volume to major destination countries fluctuated but generally increased over the 1994–2023 period. This increase was associated with changes in clove production, export prices, exchange rates, per capita GDP of the destination countries, economic distance, and government policies. The estimation using the Fixed Effect Model indicates that, jointly, production, export price, exchange rate, economic distance, and government policy significantly affect export volume. Partially, production, export price, and exchange rate have a positive and significant effect, while per capita GDP of destination countries shows a positive but insignificant effect. Conversely, economic distance and government policies have a negative and significant effect on Indonesia’s clove export volume. Keywords: clove, export, gravity model, panel data
