Abstract

Effectiveness of Policy Program Implementation (KOTAKU) in Legok Village, Danau Sipin District, Jambi City in overcoming these problems. Based on the results of initial observations made by researchers in Legok Village, Danau Sipin Subdistrict, Jambi City, it shows the problem of the ineffectiveness of implementing the KOTAKU Program. The problem in question is that there is currently an implementation of the KOTAKU Program in Legok Village, but in fact there are many places that have not been fully implemented in Legok Village from the seven indicators of the KOTAKU Program. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of the KOTAKU Program in preventing new attacks in Legok Village, Lake Sipin District, Jambi City. The information in this study is the Slum Settlement Coordination Team for the KOTAKU Program, the Public Housing and Settlement Areas of Jambi City, the Sub-District of Danau Sipin, Jambi City, Legok Village Head and the people of Jambi City. The data collection method in this study is qualitative data collection, namely interviews, and documentation. The data analysis technique of this research is effective descriptive. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of the KOTAKU Program policy in Legok Village is the handling of slum areas with the "100-0-100" movement. livable, and there are still many settlements that have not been served by environmental roads, the drainage provided is inadequate, there are still many people who do not have proper sanitation facilities and have not been served properly where the garbage disposal provided is also not served, access to fire safety is not adequate. The level of slums in the Legok Village area, Danau Sipin District, Jambi City is at the level of severe slums. Meanwhile, the community in the implementation of the KOTAKU Program in Jambi City is at a moderate level of participation. Keywords: Policy, Alleviation, Settlement, Slums.
