Abstract

ABSTRAK Ekowisata merupakan perjalanan wisata ke suatu lingkungan baik alam yang alami maupun buatan serta budaya yang bersifat informatif dan partisipatif bertujuan untuk menjamin kelestarian alam dan sosial budaya. Ekowisata sangat erat hubungannya dengan prinsip konservasi yang mengacu pada tiga hal utama yaitu keberlangsungan alam atau ekologi, memberikan manfaat ekonomi, dan secara psikologi dapat diterima dalam kehidupan sosial masyarakat. Kegiatan ekowisata secara langsung memberi akses kepada semua orang untuk melihat, mengetahui, dan menikmati pengalaman alam, intelektual dan budaya masyarakat lokal dengan menitikberatkan pada pelestarian dibandingkan pemanfaatan (Satria, 2009). Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Goa Calau Petak pada bulan Februari 2021. Secara administrasi Goa Calau Petak berada di Desa Sungai Beduri, Kecamatan Limun, Kabupaten Sarolangun. Secara Geografis wilayah Kabupaten Sarolangun terletak pada posisi 1020 03’39” sampai 1030 13’17” BT dan antara 010 53’39” LS sampai 020 46’24” LS (Meridian Greenwich). Goa Calau Petak terletak di Desa Meribung, Kecamatan Limun, Kabupaten Sarolangun, Perovinsi Jambi, tepatnya di Dusun Sungai Beduri. Hasil penelitian ini mendapatkan nilai potensi ekowisata goa calau petak sangat berpotensi, dimana antaranya daya tarik wisata, sarana dan prasarana penunjang, daya dukung kawasan serta ketersediaan air bersih mendapatkan nilai sangat berpotensi sedangkan aksesibilitas memperoleh nilai berpotensi dan akomodasi memperoleh nilai tidak berpotensi, sehingga Goa Calau Petak mendapat kriteria sangat berpotensi untuk dikembangkan sebagai daerah tujuan wisata alam (ekowisata). Kata kunci : Potensi, Ekowisata, Goa Calau Petak ABSTRACT Ecotourism is a tourist trip to an environment, both natural and artificial and cultural that is informative and participatory, aiming to ensure the preservation of nature and socio-culture. Ecotourism is closely related to the principle of conservation which refers to three main things, namely the sustainability of nature or ecology, providing economic benefits, and being psychologically acceptable in the social life of the community. Ecotourism activities directly provide access for everyone to see, know, and enjoy the natural, intellectual and cultural experiences of local communities with an emphasis on conservation rather than utilization (Satria, 2009). This research was conducted in Calau Petak Cave in February 2021. Administratively, Calau Petak Cave is located in Sungai Beduri Village, Limun District, Sarolangun Regency. Geographically, the area of Sarolangun Regency is located at a position of 1020 03'39" to 1030 13'17" east longitude and between 010 53'39" LS to 020 46'24" LS (Meridian Greenwich). Calau Petak Cave is located in Meribung Village, Limun District, Sarolangun Regency, Jambi Province, precisely in Sungai Beduri Hamlet. The results of this study found that the ecotourism potential value of Calau Petak Cave was very potential, which included tourist attractions, supporting facilities and infrastructure, regional carrying capacity and the availability of clean water, while accessibility had potential value and accommodation had no potential value. The plots have the criteria that they have the potential to be developed as natural tourism destinations (ecotourism). Keywords: Potential, Ecotourism, Calau Petak Cave.
