Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aimed to know the level of farmers’s motivation in the implementation of upsus pajale program activities in Kumpeh sub-district of Muaro Jambi, and to know the relationship of farmers’s motivation with the implementation of upsus pajale program activity in Kumpeh sub-district of Muaro Jambi. This research was held in Sungi Aur village and Pulau Mentaro village on April of 22th 2017 until Mei of 22th 2017. The method of sampling used slovin method and the selection of region is done purposively. The types of data in this study include primary data and secondary data. The data are analyzed descriptively through the frequency distribution table. The analysis test used is rank spearman (rs). The result of the research is motivation based on the existential requirement 85.4% of respondents, motivation based on relatedness requirement 78.1% of respondents, and motivation based on the growth requirement 73.2% of respondents, and for the program of upsus pajale program is 85.3% . So it can be concluded that there is a real relationship between the motivation of farmers with the implementation of upsus pajale program. Keywords : Farmer’s Motivation, upsus pajale
