Abstract
Abstrak The tourism potential of Sungai Sahut village is the Green Hill's reservoir, the Green Hill's Embung tourism object is currently under intensive management by the Sungai Sahut village government which in the future will become a symbol of the South Tabir District. problems and factors related to tourism development, such as inadequate road access, where the road access connecting the city to Sungai Sahut Village, Tabir Selatan District, Merangin Regency is arguably very bad, especially during the rainy season, as well as facilities such as not yet available. the existence of prayer rooms, lodging places and inadequate parking lots, not optimal assistance funds from the central and regional governments. In this study, researchers will focus on how the function of the village government in managing community-based tourism as a tourism attraction for Sungai Sahut village in particular and Tabir Selatan District in general, as a source of income for BUMDes Sungai Sahut and alternative community tourism. In a study, it is very closely related to a method, because the use of research methods must be adapted to the problems and objectives to be studied. Success in a research can not be separated from a method used in the implementation of data collection and data analysis. In this study the method used is a descriptive study with a qualitative approach. Qualitative research is research that can answer the problem of calm social phenomena that require an in-depth understanding of the context of time and the situation concerned with the condition of the object occurring in the field as follows: Based on the results of observations and interviews with the author In the field, with the implementation of the village government function in community-based tourism management in Sungai Sahut village, the village government can manage tourism objects optimally and well even though there are few obstacles in the field of facilities. with others in tourism management. The government can also introduce tourism objects to the wider community and people outside Sungai Sahut village, the existence of tourist objects in Sungai Sahut village in addition to being able to increase the village and community economy, this tourist attraction can also add to the list of various tourist objects in Merangin Regency. The implementation of the functions of the Sungai Sahut village government: 1. The application of the function of the village government regulator 2.
