Abstract

ABSTRAK Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis apakah terjadi kausalitas antara pertumbuhan ekonom dan investasi serta pertumbuhan ekonomi dan infrastruktur di Provinsi Jambi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah sekunder (runtut waktu) dari tahun 2002-2021. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan uji kausalitas granger yaitu merupakan sebuah metode analisis guna mengetahui hubungan kausalitas antara dua variabel. Disamping itu untuk mendapatkan hasil estimasi dilakukan uji stasioneritas dan penetuan lag oprimum yang selanjutnya di lakukan uji kausalitas granger tersebut. Hasil estimasi dari variabel pertumbuhan ekonomi, investasi dan infrastruktur yang ditunjukkan dengan uji stasioneritas bahwa masing-masing variabel tersebut telah stasioner pada tingkat first differene dengan taraf 5% dan pada uji kausalitas granger menggunakan lag 4 menujukan terdapat hubungan kausalitas baik antara variabel pertumbuhan ekonomi dan variabel investasi maupun sebaliknya. Kemudian pada uji kausalitas granger menggunakan lag 4 variabel pertumbuhan ekonomi dan infrastruktur menunjukkan tidak terdapat hubungan baik satu arah maupun dua arah Kata Kunci : Pertumbuhan ekonomi, infrastruktur, investasi, kausalitas granger   ABSTRACT The purpose of this study is to analyze whether there is causality between economic growth and investment as well as economic and infrastructure growth in Jambi Province. The research method used is a quantitative method. The data used in this study is secondary (time series) from 2002-2021. This research was conducted using the Granger causality test, which is an analytical method to determine the causal relationship between two variables. Besides that, to get the estimation results, a stationarity test and determination of the optimal lag were carried out which was then carried out with the Granger causality test. The estimation results of the variables of economic growth, investment and infrastructure are shown by the stationarity test that each of these variables is stationary at the first differene level with a level of 5% and the Granger causality test using lag 4 shows that there is a good causality relationship between the economic growth variable and the variable. investment or vice versa. Then the Granger causality test using lag 4 variables of economic growth and infrastructure shows that there is no one-way or two-way relationship.
