Abstract

Penelitian Ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor apa saja yang mendasari keputusan petani tetap mengusahakan usahatani padi sawah di Desa Lubuk Ruso di Kecamatan Pemayung Kabupaten Batanghari. Pemilihan lokasi penelitian dilakukan dengan sengaja (purposive) dengan pertimbangan bahwa petani di Desa Lubuk Ruso sebagian besar melakukan pengalihan fungsi lahan dari usahatani padi sawah meskipun banyak petani yang beralih fungsi lahan tetapi petani tetap mengusahakan usahatani padi sawah. Penelitian ini dilakukan dari bulan September- Oktober 2022. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode analisis deskriptif dan analisis data menunjukkan Faktor berdasarkan intuisi, faktor berdasarkan rasional, faktor berdasarkan fakta, faktor berdasarkan pengalaman, dan faktor wewenang mendasari keputusan petani tetap mengusahakan usahatani padi sawah di Desa Lubuk Ruso di Kecamatan Pemayung Kabupaten Batanghari dengan faktor berdasarkan rasional menjadi faktor tertinggi. This research aims to find out what factors underlie the farmer's decision to continue to work on lowland rice farming in Lubuk Ruso Village, Pemayung District, Batanghari Regency. The selection of the research location was carried out purposively with the consideration that most of the farmers in Lubuk Ruso Village had transferred the function of their land from lowland rice farming although many farmers had switched land functions but the farmers continued to work on lowland rice farming. This research was conducted from September to October 2022. This research used a descriptive analysis method and data analysis showed that factors based on intuition, factors based on rationale, factors based on facts, factors based on experience, and factors of authority underlie farmers' decisions to continue working on lowland rice farming in Lubuk Village Ruso in Pemayung District, Batanghari Regency with rational based factors being the highest factor.
