Abstract
ABSTRAK Pengelolaan Sungai Batang Merao sampai sekarang masih menghadapi berbagai permasalahan seperti banjir. Faktor penyebab terjadinya banjir salah satunya adalah beralihnya fungsi penggunaan lahan di daerah hulu dari kawasan hutan menjadi kawasan pertanian serta perubahan dari kawasan pertanian menjadi kawasan pemukiman mengakibatkan aliran permukaan menjadi lebih besar ketika hujan turun. Perubahan tata guna lahan meningkat seiring dengan pertumbuhan laju penduduk pada suatu wilayah. Oleh sebab itu, perlu adanya informasi mengenai analisis debit Sungai Batang Merao.Pada analisis debit di Sungai Batang Merao dilakukan menggunakan metode SWAT. Model SWAT digunakan karena dalam melakukan analisis debit memperhitungkan data iklim, sifat tanah, topografi, vegetasi, dan praktik pengelolaan lahan yang terjadi di dalam DAS. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui debit harian, debit 15 harian, dan debit bulanan DAS Batang Merao. Analisis debit Sungai Batang Merao di outlet Debai dilakukan selama periode tahun 2017-2019. Pada pemodelan SWAT memerlukan data tataguna lahan, jenis tanah, iklim, dan debit observasi. Tahapan model SWAT diawali proses deliniasi DAS berdasarkan outlet, pembentukan HRU, pengolahan iklim dan simulasi model, serta kalibrasi menggunakan SWATCUP dan validasi menggunakan nilai parameter statistik R2. Hasil analisis pemodelan SWAT pada DAS Batang Merao menunujukan hasil validasi debit harian, 15 harian dan bulanan Sungai Batang Merao di outlet Debai periode tahun 2018-2019 diperoleh nilai statistik R² sebesar 0.80, 0,84 dan 0,81. Nilai statistik R² menunjukkan hasil yang memuaskan yaitu mendekati angka 1. Hal ini bisa disimpulkan bahwa pemodelan debit Sungai Batang Merao dapat mempresentasikan kondisi asli yang terjadi di sungai Batang Merao, Sehingga dalam menghadapi permasalahan sumber daya air di sungai Batang Merao pemodelan SWAT dapat di jadikan sebagai alat untuk memilih tindakan pengelolaan dalam mengendalikan permasalahan tersebut. One of the factors causing flooding is the shift in the function of land use in the upstream area from a forest area to an agricultural area and a change from an agricultural area to a residential area resulting in a greater surface flow when it rains. Land use changes increase along with the growth of the population rate in an area. Therefore, it is necessary to have information about the analysis of the discharge of the Batang Merao River. The analysis of discharge in the Batang Merao River was carried out using the SWAT method. The SWAT model is used because in conducting discharge analysis it takes into account climate data, soil properties, topography, vegetation, and land management practices that occur within the watershed. This study aims to determine the daily discharge, 15 daily discharge, and monthly discharge of the Batang Merao watershed. Analysis of the Batang Merao River discharge at the Debai outlet was carried out during the period 2017-2019. SWAT modeling requires data on land use, soil type, climate, and observation discharge. The SWAT model stage begins with the watershed deliniation process based on outlets, HRU formation, climate processing and model simulation, as well as calibration using SWATCUP and validation using statistical parameter values R2. The results of the SWAT modeling analysis on the Batang Merao watershed showed the validation results of daily, 15 daily and monthly discharges of the Batang Merao River at the Debai outlet for the 2018-2019 period obtained statistical values of R² of 0.8 0, 0.84 and 0.81. The statistical value of R² shows a satisfactory result that is close to the number 1. It can be concluded that the modeling of the discharge of the Batang Merao River can present the original conditions that occur in the Batang Merao river, so that in dealing with water resource problems in the Batang Merao river SWAT modeling can be in Use it as a tool to choose management actions in controlling the problem.
