Abstract

ABSTRAK Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis: 1). Untuk mengetahui perkembangan kemiskinan provinsi di Pulau Sumatera tahun 2014-2021 dan 2.) Untuk menganalisis pengaruh pertumbuhan ekonomi, produktivitas sektor pertanian, produktivitas sektor industri dan ketimpangan pendapatan terhadap kemiskinan provinsi di Pulau Sumatera tahun 2014-2021. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode analisis deskriptif dan kuantitatif. Penelitian ini menggunakan alat analisis regresi data panel dengan pendekatan Fixed Effect Model. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa: 1.) Rata-rata tingkat kemiskinan provinsi di Pulau Sumatera selama tahun 2014-2021 adalah sebesar 10,22 persen. Rata-rata indeks kedalaman kemiskinan provinsi di Pulau Sumatera selama tahun 2014-2021 adalah sebesar 1,68. Rata-rata indeks keparahan kemiskinan provinsi di Pulau Sumatera selama tahun 2014-2021 adalah sebesar 0,41. 2.) Berdasarkan hasil regresi data panel diperoleh bahwa variabel yang berpengaruh signifikan terhadap tingkat kemiskinan provinsi di Pulau Sumatra adalah pertumbuhan ekonomi dan ketimpangan pendapatan. Variabel yang berpengaruh signifikan terhadap indeks kedalaman kemiskinan dan indeks keparahan kemiskinan provinsi di Pulau Sumatra adalah ketimpangan pendapatan. Variabel produktivitas sektor pertanian dan variabel produktivitas sektor industri tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap tingkat kemiskinan, indeks kedalaman kemiskinan dan indeks keparahan kemiskinan provinsi di Pulau Sumatra. To find out the development of provincial poverty on the island of Sumatra in 2014-2021 and 2). To analyze the effect of economic growth, agricultural sector productivity, industrial sector productivity and income inequality on provincial poverty in Sumatra Island in 2014-2021. This research uses descriptive and quantitative analysis methods. This study uses a panel data regression analysis tool with the Fixed Effect Model approach. Based on the research results obtained that: 1.) The average poverty rate of provinces on the island of Sumatra during 2014-2021 was 10.22 percent. The average poverty gap index of the provinces on the island of Sumatra during 2014-2021 was 1.68. The average poverty severity index of provinces in Sumatra Island during 2014-2021 was 0.41. 2.) Based on the panel data regression results, the variables that have a significant effect on the poverty rate of provinces on the island of Sumatra are economic growth and income inequality. The variables that have a significant effect on the poverty gap index and poverty severity index of provinces on the island of Sumatra are income inequality. The productivity variable of the agricultural sector and the productivity variable of the industrial sector have no significant effect on the poverty rate, poverty gap index and poverty severity index of the provinces in Sumatra Island.
