Abstract

Imago dari Oryctes rhinoceros Linn (Coleoptera : Scarabaeidae) merupakan hama pada tanaman kelapa sawit. Kerusakan pada titik tumbuh tanaman akan mengakibatkan pertumbuhan tanaman terganggu dan menyebabkan kerugian pada tanaman yang telah menghasilkan. Mengatasi ledakan populasi O. rhinoceros dapat dilakukan dengan mengelola breeding site yang tersedia di lahan yang dilakukan replanting. pengendalian O. rhinoceros dapat dilakukan dengan memanfaatkan musuh alami M. anisopliae dan pengunaan tanaman penutup tanah sebelum dilakukan penanman tanaman baru. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui serangan O. rhinoceros pada tanaman replanting di Desa Purwasari Kecamatan Pelepat Ilir, Kabupaten Bungo, dan untuk mengetahui keberadaan entomopatongen M. anisopliae. Penelitian mengunakan metode survai dengan variable pengamatan terdiri dari persentase tanaman terserang O. rhinoceros, tingkat serangan dan intensitas serangan O. rhinoceros, larva terserang O. rhinoceros M. anisopliae. Data yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini akan ditabulasi dan dijelaskan secara deskriptif, kemudian akan dihubungkan dengan kondisi lingkungan yang mempengaruhi serangan hama O. rhinoceros. hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa terdapat serangan hama O. rhinoceros pada areal perkebunan kelapa sawit di Desa Purwasari dengan persentase tanaman terserang tertinggi 38,64%, sedangkan tingkat serangan O. rhinoceros pada kategori sanggat berat mencapai 1,50% sampai dengan 2,38%, yang sudah menimbulkan kematian pada tanaman. dan untuk intensitas serangan terendah 3,78% pada lokasi satu dan intensitas serangan tertinggi mencapai 26,51% entomopatogen M .anisopliae tidak ditemukan di desa Purwasari Imago of Oryctes rhinoceros Linn (Coleoptera : Scarabaeidae) is a pest on oil palm plants. Overcoming the population explosion of O. rhinoceros can be done by managing the available breeding sites on the replanting land. Control of O. rhinoceros be done by utilizing natural enemies of M. anisopliae and using cover crops before planting new plants. This study aims to determine O. rhinoceros attack on replanting plants in Purwasari Village, Pelepat Ilir District, Bungo Regency, and to determine the presence of M. anisopliae entomopatongen. The study used a survey method with observational variables consisting of the percentage of plants attacked by O. rhinoceros, the level of attack and the intensity of attack O. rhinoceros, the larvae were attacked by O. rhinoceros M. anisopliae. The data obtained from this research will be tabulation and explained descriptive, then it will be related to the environmental conditions that affect. O.rhinoceros pest attack. the results of the study stated that there was an attack by O.rhinoceros in the oil palm plantation area in Purwasari Village with the highest percentage of affected plants 38.64%, while the attack rate of O. rhinoceros in the very severe category reached 1.50% to 2.38%, which has caused plant death. and for the lowest attack intensity 3.78% at location one and the highest attack intensity reached 26.51%. The entomopathogen M. anisopliae was not found in Purwasari
