Abstract

ABSTRAK Tujuan penelitian ini menganalisis hubungan edukasi keuangan, promosi keuangan dan lingkungan sosial terhadap pengambilan keputusan investasi melalui peningkatan literasi keuangan dan persepsi risiko pasar modal. Penelitian ini merupakan survey research dan menggunakan data kuesioner. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah investor saham individu yang terdaftar dan tergabung dalam group WhatsApps investor pada perusahaan sekuritas perwakilan Provinsi jambi. Sampel penelitian ini sebanyak 136 investor individu. Model pengukuran penelitian ini bersifat second order factor. Metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) dengan menggunakan SmartPLS 3.0. Hasil yang diperoleh yaitu variabel literasi keuangan dan persepsi risiko memiliki peran sebagai variabel intervening yang memediasi hubungan antara edukasi keuangan, promosi keuangan, dan lingkungan sosial terhadap pengambilan keputusan investasi yang dilakukan oleh investor individu. Kebaharuan penelitian ini yaitu pertama, Penelitian ini menawarkan pendekatan baru untuk kajian-kajian menggenai keputusan investasi menggunakan teori atribusi model klausal dimana melihat perilaku investor individu dari faktor internal atau eksternal. Kedua, hubungan model pengambilan keputusan investasi yang di pengaruhi oleh lingkungan sosial melalui persepsi risiko. Kata Kunci: Edukasi Keuangan, Promosi Keuangan, Lingkungan Sosial, Literasi Keuangan, Persepsi Risiko, Pengambilan Keputusan Investasi ABSTRACT This study aims to analyse the relationship between financial education, financial promotion and social environment on investment decision-making through increasing financial literacy and capital market risk perception. This research is survey research and uses questionnaire data. The population in this study were individual stock investors who were registered and joined the WhatsApp investor group at the securities company representing Jambi Province. The sample of this study was 136 individual investors. This research measurement model is a secondorder factor. The data analysis method used is Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) analysis using SmartPLS 3.0. The results are that financial literacy and risk perception are intervening variables mediating the relationship between financial education, financial promotion, and the social environment on investment decisionmaking by individual investors. The novelty of this research is that first, this research offers a new approach to studies on investment decisions using the clausal model attribution theory, which looks at individual investor behaviour from internal or external factors. Second, the relationship between investment decision-making models that are influenced by the social environment through risk perception.
