Abstract

Desa Tangkit Baru Kecamatan Sungai Gelam Kabupaten Muaro Jambi merupakan sentra produksi nanas di provinsi jambi, namun pada produksi output yaitu nanas adanya penggunaan input yang diduga belum efektif dan efisien sehingga berpengaruh terhadap keuntungan yang diterima oleh petani nanas di daerah penelitian. Oleh karena itu penelitian ini bertujuan untuk 1) Mendeskripsikan Usahatani Nanas, 2) Menghitung besarnya keuntungan usahatani nanas dan 3) Menganalisis pengaruh faktor apa saja yang mempengaruhi keuntungan usahatani nanas. Model yang digunakan adalah fungsi UOP (Unit Output Price). Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Desa Tangkit Baru Kecamatan Sungai Gelam Kabupaten Muaro Jambi. Teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik Purposive Sampling dengan sampel sebanyak 75 petani. Dari penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa 1) Rata-rata mata pencaharian masyarakat di Desa Tangkit Baru Kecamatan Sungai Gelam adalah pada sektor usahatani nanas yang bervarietas Queen. 2) Rata-rata keuntungan usahatani nanas di daerah penelitian adalah sebesar Rp. 14.829.481/ha/tahun dengan rata-rata biaya yang dikeluarkan petani sebesar Rp. 18.846.705/ha /tahun 3) Hasil regresi diperoleh bahwa pada usahatani nanas faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi keuntungan berupa biaya sewa lahan, biaya pupuk, biaya obat-obatan, dan biaya tenaga kerja berpengaruh nyata terhadap keuntungan usahatani nanas didaerah penelitian, sedangkan biaya penyusutan alat tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap keuntungan usahatani nanas didaerah penelitian. Kata Kunci : Usahatani, Faktor Keuntungan, Keuntungan Tangkit Baru Village, Sungai Gelam Sub-District, Muaro Jambi Regency is a center for pineapple production in Jambi province, but in output production, namely pineapple, the use of inputs is suspected to have not been effective and efficient so that it affects the profits received by pineapple farmers in the study area. Therefore, this study aims to 1) describe pineapple farming, 2) calculate the amount of profit from pineapple farming and 3) analyze the influence of any factors that affect the profit of pineapple farming. The model used is the UOP (Unit Output Price) function. This research was conducted in Tangkit Baru Village, Sungai Gelam District, Muaro Jambi Regency. The sampling technique in this study used a purposive sampling technique with a sample of 75 farmers. From this study it can be concluded that 1) The average livelihood of the people in Tangkit Baru Village, Sungai Gelam District is in the pineapple farming sector with the Queen variety. 2) The average profit of pineapple farming in the study area is Rp. 14,829,481/ha/year with an average cost of Rp. 18,846,705/ha/year 3) Regression results show that in pineapple farming, the factors that influence profits in the form of land rental costs, fertilizer costs, drug costs, and labor costs have a significant effect on pineapple farming profits in the study area, while costs tool depreciation has no significant effect on the profits of pineapple farming in the study area.
