Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh penambahan ampas kopi liberika pada mutu sabun padat dan mengetahui jumlah ideal ampas kopi yang dapat digunakan dalam pembuatan sabun kopi. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan 5 taraf perlakuan dan 3 ulangan sehingga memperoleh 15 satuan percobaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pengaruh penambahan jumlah ampas kopi liberika terhadap mutu sabun padat berpengaruh nyata tehadap tekstur dan aroma, serta tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap kadar air, asam lemak bebas, pH, stabilitas busa, dan warna sabun padat. Perlakuan jumlah ampas kopi liberika sebanyak 35 gram merupakan perlakuan terbaik dalam pembuatan sabun padat dengan menghasilkan nilai kadar air 12,05%, asam lemak bebas 1%, nilai pH 9,81, nilai stabilitas busa 82,48%, nilai warna 3,63, nilai tekstur 4,33 dan nilai aroma 3,60. This study aims to determine the effect of the addition of Liberika coffee grounds on the quality of solid soap and to determine the ideal amount of coffee grounds that can be used in making coffee soap. This study used a completely randomized design (CRD) with 5 treatment levels and 3 replications to obtain 15 experimental units. The results showed that the effect of increasing the amount of Liberika coffee grounds on the quality of solid soap had a significant effect on texture and aroma, and had no significant effect on water content, free fatty acids, pH, foam stability, and color of solid soap. Treatment of 35 grams of Liberika coffee grounds is the best treatment in making solid soap with a water content value of 12.05%, free fatty acids 1%, pH value 9.81, foam stability value 82.48%, color value 3.63 , texture value 4.33 and aroma value 3.60.
